a few questions:
1st: can u route and audio track into an other audio track? (i know u can create a group track and route the audio track into it) and if so, can u recrd the incoming audio by hitting record on the track that receives audio and then hitting play?
2nd: how do u bounce audio from a vsti track? i'm aware of the possibility to solo & render the track but that's a bit of a pain in the ass.
appreciate any help,

1) No, you can only send an audio track to a group, fx, send, or master outs. However, you can route multiple audio tracks to a group, then select the group track, right-click on it, and "export" the track. Then you can re-import the track into another audio track.
2) Use the "Freeze" function.
2) Use the "Freeze" function.

let's say i have a 4 bar loop, a bassline or smth and i'm done tweaking the vsti. if i freeze it, i can't edit it in any way, i can't move, copy, paste etc. however, bouncing the audio onto a track would solve this.
