robocoder2? what you mean? the two-version-package?
i will upload it later this day! :)
Oops, I thought the "R" in the green "Robocoder" text was an "2"...

2 versions - if there will be an Robocoder instrument (midi in) and and Robocoder effect (audio in).
The first one is the one I want to have in Live.

(And yes, I'm a confused kind of person confusing my surroundings... I want them to be like me!)

oh damn, stupid me  :bang:
i forgot that using two *.dll´s like "robocoder_fx" and "robocoder_vst" or something would result in needing two directories with the same content... thats stupid.

i really think robocoder needs an installer soon :hihi:

Hi folks,

i´ve made a little update:
  • replaced the velocity knob with a combined LP/HP multifilter
  • automating of GUI wheels now possible
  • made some changes to quantizing
  • some small internal optimizations
downloadlinks are the same. enjoy! :)

oh sounds great!!! I'm shure the "some small internal opts." are the important ones that make the difference eh..? :)

Post

exactly! ;)

Ok, I'm thick. I've put Robocoder into my VST directory. FL Studio will only let me load it as an effect. Sending a synth through it generates just a "breathy" version of the synth sound. No sign of any words anywhere. What am I doing wrong?

you have to make sure that it´s installed this way:

c:\program files\myvsthost\myplugins\robocoder demo < with all content like the dir "UK" with "A","B" and so on in it...
c:\program files\myvsthost\myplugins\robocoder demo.dll

this is necessary for robocoder to find its words! :)
otherwise it wont output any error, it will be just silent.

and yes: at the moment it´s an vst-effect because of the four operation modes (external and classic), which lets you use robocoder like a classic vocoder!

So there will be two version of the dll?
Thats OK for me, even of wavs have to duplicated.

yes, exactly.
the only benefit from using the FX version instead of the instrument-one is that you have access to the internal vocoder. that you can use it for any material! :)

Playing around with the extarnal mode, learning to handle it... getting very amusing! :D Drums audio in, another midi in from a drum track...

This is a winner

@conny_kvr: hey thats cool! :D yes, it´s on sale now but
the price of 25€ is the preorder price! after robocder reaches 1.0 status it will be available for 40€ (approx. 50$):)
