Hello all,
for the fun of it, i made an EQ plugin based on a broken lappy. It is basically a real EQ, but higher gain will result in a more craggy sound.
It's currently only mono, but if you like it, i will make an enhanced version out of it...
Grab it here: http://www.savioursofsoul.de/Christian/ ... hfopit.zip
P.S.: I can also double the speed rewriting the code to assembler, if needed. (Currently 3% on my machine). Other options possible as well...

Thx, just gave it a test. and it seems to work out nicely.
very straight forward and nice and simple.
....And yes, please enhance the next ver. to make it stereo!!
(also, how about a'smaller GUI' ) , this ones rather large and in the way.
I appreciate the effort here, keep 'em comin!!

I second that. It seems to work nicely. It's not too cpu hungry, but having the most optimized possible version is always good. I don't think the GUI is too large. However, I think it would be very convenient if there were markers for the frequencies. Also, I have noticed that if you raise a dot above the boundaries of the GUI, you cannot lower it anymore.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Grab a new version here: http://www.savioursofsoul.de/Christian/ ... hfopit.zip
1) smaller GUI
2) frequency grid
3) stereo
4) already a bit optimised
Have fun,
Christian

Hello lovely people outside,
i've just finished my definatly last version of this little plugin unless you all do want more. It is a nice dynamically enhanced EQ now.
Changes:
* oversampling
* dynamic handling improved
* some assembly enhancements
Grab it here and be happy: http://www.savioursofsoul.de/Christian/ ... hfopit.zip

It's a transistor like saturation. Red dots are saturated more than yellow dots. It makes the sound more warm, but also introduces some harmonically distortion.

tube saturation is much more difficult than transistor saturation, even without an EQ around it.
And since posihfopit was made just for fun, i don't think, i will put further development in this plugin.
Maybe some optimisations. Currently it takes up to 10% CPU with 10 EQ curves an 2x oversampling.
But i do like the sound & it's totally free.
Have fun,
Christian

Nice one, Christian!
Would be cool if one could reset (and probably bypass) individual nodes/bands.
Btw, what's "orfanidis"?
