It was one year ago today that I placed my first eSoundz order... which was the SS1 Group buy,,, which also included Omni Synth 1. Isn't it ironic that we find out about Omni Synth 2 on the same day??

Thanks Squids and the staff, for all the good deals and taking care of me. I've been enjoying having all these great music making tools!

I'm looking forward to what the next year will bring,,, Philharmonik, Amplitube 2, Studiophonik, Omni Synth 2 (with it's calliope sound with more chiff in the attack) LOL

So thanks to Squids, the company, the soundz and all the new musician friends I have through getting involved with eSoundz!!

You're welcome HG. Nice to have you around too.

By the way, it's OmniSOUNDZ 2 (not OmniSynth which is the ST-only version that comes with ST2LE... no OmniSynth 2 was mentioned, just the sound library cousin of it).

I saw the ad for AmpliTube 2 in the latest EM magazine but I didn't see anything about it on the AmpliTube site yet. It look like it has quite a few upgrades. When is it due to be available?

Maybe next month or so. I have an early version of it and it is out of this world. It really is the best looking and sounding guitar amp and fx rig. Of course that is my opinion and I had some input into it (a lot of my own personal stomp collection was modeled for it... woohoooooo!). But, the engineers at IK in Italy are just brilliant and I am so glad that this product (and Ampeg SVX) will exist. Just the stomps alone are worth it. I mean, a CE-1, Phase 90, Dyancomp, Fuzzface (and tons more)???? That's what I WANT! You don't even want to know how much I paid for my real stomp collection. But, having it modeled well in software is just so cool. Production power in your PC is getting rediculously good. But, all that talk about the stomps is one thing. The amp, speaker and mic modeling? Ohhhhhh. We're not worthy. It's sick. Really. I am not just hyping nothing here. It truly RULES. Almost undeniably by most people. You guys will see. It is worth the wait. They weren't messing around when they made this. Serious effort that has taken the engineers a long time. I too am anxious for the final with all the additional stomps, amps and effects. I really think this will be the guitarist's popular choice. It just comes to close too the ideal hardware experience.

i've found that amplitube 1 has been very useful in film stuff. there's a ton of sounds that always need to sound like they are coming from a speaker of some sort and this plugin saves a lot of time in that whole process. so between my guitar playing and sound tweaking with amp1, you can bet i'm dyin for the sequel.

I don't think I've quite made the 4 year mark. Anyone remember when I made my famous post about comparing Sonic Synth to Yamaha QY700? :hihi:

The flutes and brass remarks...

Needless to say - I've used Sonic Synth much more than the QY700 since that time. ;)

I see Omnisoundz but not Omnisoundsz2 (at least not designated as such), and I must've missed the announcement.

Oops, I found it buried in http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... &start=100 (New product coming from SR!)

I have Omnisynth now from the SS1/Omnisynth/ST2LE group buy, what is the benefit of upgrading? I have NI Kompakt (full version, loads Kontakt sounds) as well as ST2LE.

Back in the beginning of 2003, when I was at the start of my adventure to record and arrange my songs, Omnisynth was the result of an extensive research - a sound module that got me started with great sounds. Man, I still love the acoustic guitar that came with it.
So I've been an SR customer for over 2 years, now. My first esoundz puchase was this year, though - the famous ST2L+SS2+AT+more group buy. ;)

It was almost ridiculous. Made ST2 and SS2 jump up to the top of my needed and wanted list. Actually I was quite happy with the "workstation sounds" that I already owned and I got Nigel from UAD, which was fine for me, too. But all this additional choice of samples for the ridiculous amout of $319. O man, for Hypersonic alone, I had to shed out more $$$$.

Yeah, that GB was a great deal. We got SS1, Omni Synth, Sampletank LE, and your choice of an eROM set (which became the Expansion Tanks) plus free shipping, for $109.

When I got it, my jaw dropped!! I'm excited about the Omnisoundz GB!!
