The two biggest products in NI's arsenal, Reaktor and Kontakt have both been updated during 2005 and I think are unlikely to be updated during 2006. Battery had a long-awaited update along with Absynth, around 18 months after the release of version 2.

Of their other products, I'd imagine that Kompakt and Impakt would be likely candidates for quick updates as they are technically subsets of Kontakt. They don't exactly spring out as essential updates.

That leaves FM7, Pro-53, Vokator and Spektral Delay as likely candidates.

For the record, I reckon that this time next year we'll be debating whether or not Akoustik Piano and Bandstand are going to be in the Komplete Care 2007 update for 2006 customers and be looking forward to being able to kompile stand-alone VSTs in the newly announced Reaktor 6!

I have Komplete 2 & Komplete Kare2005 most of the sound sets and a Komplete headaKe...

I hope all the updates & prices will be Klearly announced and if GR2 (with FloorBoard) and Komplete Sound2 aint in the paKaeg NI Kan Kiss my Kash bye bye...

Reaktor 5 update
and now.. B4 update

I seriously think Spektral Delay will be next as it is now the oldest plug - in ?

If that's it then we have to pay full upgrade price for Komplete 3 then KC 2006 that will be a shit deal.

KC2005 got me Reaktor 5, Absynth 3, Kontakt 2, and Battery 2. Quite a deal if you ask me.

Absynth 3 and Battery 2 were an additional amount of money and not part of the offical KC2005 deal, so basically I have had Kontakt 2 and Reaktor 5 so far - they have to provide a free upgrade to Komplete or they have basically lied to KC2005 owners.

I seem to recall 5 major updates this year - which would go with the 3 that are part of Komplete 3.

Which NI products do I need to have registered in advance in order to receive a reduced NI KOMPLETE 3 Upgrade Offer
Qualifying products for an NI KOMPLETE 3 upgrade include the previous or most recent full versions of the NI products included in NI KOMPLETE 3, plus REAKTOR SESSION: REAKTOR 2.3/3/4/5, REAKTOR SESSION, ABSYNTH 1/2/3, FM7, B4, PRO-52/PRO-53, ELEKTRIK PIANO, GUIATR RIG 1/2, KONTAKT 1/1.5/2, KOMPAKT, INTAKT, BATTERY 1/2, NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY, VOKATOR.

You need to own a minimum of two of the above mentioned products, depending on the upgrade package.

Please note:
- If you own REAKTOR SESSION and and REAKTOR 2.3/3/4/5, the two products qualify only once.
- Upgrades from KOMPAKT/INTAKT to KONTAKT also qualify.
- The Studio Collection qualifies as 3 products. Users of the Studio Collection please use the registration support form to let the support team update your registrations accordingly!
Not qualifying:
- NI KOMPLETE 2 or 3 does not qualify

Now I carry on The Komplete 3 upgrade for Komplete 2 users with Komplete Kare 2005 who are considering to get the Komplete 3 upgrade or keep the Komplete 2 and get Komplete Kare 2006 and the Komplete 3 owneres who are to get Komple Kare 2006 ............................................OOOOHHHH FU CK f**k !!!!!!

I only just got K2 and it looks like there is no special deal for recent K2 purchasers

OK, so as far as I understand it now it works like this for me (as a Komplete 2 owner who hasn't got Komplete Care 2005):

* I can't upgrade at a reduced price to Komplete 3
* I can still buy Komplete Care 2006 and get all of the upgrades I missed in 2005 (e.g. Kontakt2, Reaktor5, Absynth3, Battery2 etc.) as well as any upgrades which will/might come out in 2006 for things like B4, Vokator, Spectral Delay

Does this look right? Makes Komplete Care 2006 look quite attractive.
