I'm going to be getting Live soon and was wondering if it would be worth getting a dual LCD monitor setup.
I'm going to be doing live deep house sets with it, and was thinking i might want as much visual space as possible, however i'm not familiar with the layout of Live. Would it work well w/ dual monitor setup or would I only utilize one?
sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm just not too familiar with the Live setup.
Peace

I can't tell about Live, but i was using dual monitors in FL, eXT and in Cubase and i guess it would be more comfortable to work with Live too.. 'cause basically, every application is extendable to 2 monitors.
Not even Hänsel is what Gretel used to be.

Live in itself is a one window type of application. Actually a big screen (19inch) or more can be very handy. I use as well a second monitor mainly for plugins. So when you switch from track to track you can view the plugins associated with your tracks on your second display. It can saves lots of time minimizing and maximizing plugin windows. You can customise as well the plugins display behavior depending on your needs. All vsts display layout are remembered and saved with your Livesets.ioTus wrote:I'm going to be getting Live soon and was wondering if it would be worth getting a dual LCD monitor setup.

Me too. You can never have too much screen real estate.
