I think what you guys are talking about is more whether there is an appreciation of the talent she has. Obviously millions of people do. But then millions of people like Regis too (doesn't mean he is talented!... although I guess he is at least at keeping people interested... that is more like MAGIC really! ).

Anyway, I don't care that Destiny's Child is breaking up and actually I think they planned the break up so they could get some publicity for their solo careers and then they'll get back together for a spectactular reunion. Sounds like a record company plan to me! ;) Who knows?

I like Beyonce though. I do think she's very talented. I actually did some sampling for her tour but I didn't get to meet her. I kind of wanted to. A Squids has his fantasies. ;) :D (Like her coming over and saying "Is that a MIROSLAV sample you're playing? WE need to hang out! )

I can't personally sing their songs, don't suppose I've tried. But there are enough people in the world capable of that level of performance that Beyonce's talents are diminished in my view, because of that fact.

So I suppose what I should have said is.. I don't *think* they're talented...

... oh wait... that's what I did say...

Look... talent is a relative term. No doubt if you heard something by Akira Rabelais, you'd say he had no talent.
I ain't going to lie... I'm trying my best to be even a third as talented as Beyoncé vocally and dance wise. I made and sang this KvR entrythat won a few months back in the DC style.

So i guess there ARE some secret Destiny's Child fans here even if it is not 'cool' for you guys to admit you like them.

someone who can write top 10 hit after top 10 hit...I swear that could be called a talent
I would rather call it an ability, or the culmination of various abilities - one of them being able to read and analyse demographics and marketing statistics, and even in that case, the talent isn't Beyonce's... it's the people running the show from behind closed doors.
Wow, you really don't get it.

Imagining Beyoncé pouring over marketting and demographic statistics...before singing the ghetto.

This is why some people are stars and others are analysts. Stars just do. No need to analyse.

That's you singing Lady J? Sounds great. Backing vocals are really nice too. You have a website for your music?

I love the r&b , jazz and funk of the 60s and 70s along with the hip hop of the early 90s, ever since then the good stuff has been few and far between and mostly formulaic.

thank you but i have a long long way to go still. my vocal instructor cracks on me all the time...

"u have no vibrato"
"u have too much vibrato"
"u need to breathe more"
"tighten up your voice"
"watch those flats"
"watch the sharp"
"stop eating thai food, it causes acid reflux"
"don't strain your voice, sleep more"
"drink water"
"don't drink milk"
"drink hot tea with lemon"
"don't drink before you go on stage"
"no alcohol!"
Backing vocals are really nice too.
That's my girls Ina and Yaya from our group, The Backups. And yes we are all the same but different hehe.
You have a website for your music?

Yes I do.. but its all my old stuff and it is under my real name not this psuedonym. After next week work will begin on my all new site...um... here from another forum:

Look for a MAJOR site update in the new year. Not just a site update but a complete remix.

We start at the end of this month on the new jordana.org site which will incorporate many things from the old jordana.co.uk site plus all new things such as an updated discography, including her appearance on Girs In Space and DJ Psycle's mix CD.

www.jordanamusic.com will be Jordana's solo Pop music site for the album she has in the works with a former producer of N'Sync, Christina Aguilera, The Sugarbabes and Mis-Teeq.

www.jordana.uk.to will carry her print modelling shots/portfolio and UK specific things

www.jordana.org will carry her old DJing, Drum n Bass and UK Garage stuff as well as be an umberella for all other sites

www.jordana.tv will have videos including the appearances on MTV Amp, tv/film acting, tv/radio appearances and tour footage from her recent Asia tour.

www.jordana.co.jp will have a special japanese site

www.jordana.co.th will have a special thai site with her collab with Joey Boy Rama

http://www.the-backups.com is the site for her singing group with Ina and Yaya which will be active later next year when their first single is out.

Jordana and her site jordana.org will also be appearing briefly on an Aronson Films production, "Beautiful Daughters" which will air on MTV/Viacom Network's LOGO Network February 2006.

Here's hoping that strong independent bastion of womens liberation, Girls Aloud, hang on in there.

I agree... The R&B of the 60's and 70's (Motown/Stax) is unbelievable.
