Kind of a stupid question, but does LiveSlice allow the creation of beatmapped acidized .wav files from scratch?

Or does the original file have to be acidized to save as an acidized wav?

If the former is the case, I am a customer as of now. :hyper:

EDIT: Here's some material from the manual :D
manual wrote:LiveSlice supports import of slices from ACID chunks and markers saved inside wav files. By default, both
slices and audio will be loaded. The small button labelled import, below the filebrowser, can be used to toggle
import of slices and audio, audio only or slices only.

be saved in the ACIDized format.
You did try the demo, right?

from what I can see, Liveslice will allow you to load a wav file, slice it , then save it as an acidised wav. I can't see any way to save the re-arranged, butchered, loops created in the arranger as acidised wavs, though

No, not yet, but that's a feature I look forward to implement :-) I've been doing some VJ'ing with Resolume - excellent Video mixing tool. It has a brilliant feature that allows you to record what you are currently showing on screen and use that as a part of a new mix. Would be excellent in LiveSlice to really get complex.
