Ohm, i know you are extremely busy with all the plugs but i was wondering what the chances are of having the LS gui resizeable?
One issue i have going right now is knwoing which arrangements are triggered between multiple Liveslices.
I use my PC keyboard to trigger the arrangements and there may be times when i have one LS going or several arrangements within multiple Liveslices going. Since my PC keyboard cannot give me visual feedback of which arrangements are triggered, my only other option is to view LS itself. However, i cannot view more than one at a time due to the GUI size.
As you know, within EXT i can dock instruments. What would be ideal is to dock multiple liveslices to the same docked page and resize them so only the arrangements are visible.
Picture it like a cell matrix (almost like the Session view within Live). This way, i just click on the docked page and now i can have a visual representation of what is going on with the triggering.
Ideally, it would be great to have the ability to size the GUI vertically and horizontally as I personally only use about 12 cells to fit a keyboard octave.
Anyhow, until i can afford the LX2 from Faderfox, this would be convenient.
BTW, have you seen this thing the LX2???? It would be perfect to trigger arrangements in Liveslice!

This sounds like a great idea. I wonder if it's possible to have each instance of liveslice in a different colour - a bit like hosts do when opening a new track.

Those are great ideas. I was already planning to make the gui resizable, by allowing you to minimize the slicer / arranger / loop / file lists.
Free resizing using the mouse doesn't work well with the gui framework I'm using.
I'll look into the changing color thing. It does require me to make some tedious changes to the gui code behind the scenes to support transparent bitmaps for the logo and buttons, but I figure a lot of people would be interested in changing the color scheme.
