Hi,
we have released a new VST effect, "Mirror1"

It is based on our new morphing convolution engine. You can do seamless morphing along several impulse responses in a bank.
There are 15 banks (groups of IRs).
There are more than 100 IRs.

Impulse responses have been extracted through chains of hardware devices.

This plugin has been developed in collaboration with sinkmusic here @kvr (GUI and IRs)
Who is interested can take part in our Impulse Library collab-ware project (more on sknote)

It is free and you can download it from www.sknote.it

Please remember that this first version needs 44100Hz samplerate in your host!

Great work, Quinto.
Really innovative.

The morphing works great,
but very fast morphs are a bit steppy.
That's not a real problem for me.

And a remarkable interesting selection of IRs, IMO.

Thanks for this one...
I'm really curious about the "open" plugin using this engine.

It looks interesting, but it doesnt appear to register in Cubasis VST4? Ill try in Tracktion 2 in a few moments.

- for every samplerate
- emulated vocoder (from the same engine)
- "open plugin" (load your own IRs)

@Rangtangtang: tested in Tracktion2 Demo, here, it works well. Please let me know if it works...
Please check that you have "support files" (look at "Voices"...)

This is the result I got in Tracktion 2;

A box appears and say something about libpng13.dll(?) not found.

And now Tracktion 2 lists mirror as a file to ignore when searching.

I made a folder and called it sknote(in case I want to retreive it?) and put them in, and then put that folder in windows system32.

And I got the same result, I think, in Traction?

I don't think I can open up Tracktion again for the moment - it has this bug you close it(closed twice this time) and it won't until the computer has been off and on againg. It has been updated so I don't know, so far.

So, is it I can not put them in folder so I can easily retreive them?

So, I asume that is what a installer is about and I have some miscelaneous files floating about in my windows system 32 folder?

libpng.dll and zlib.dll can be in the same directory as the plugin, if it is better for you...
I say windows32 because these files are common for every plugin, so they can be shared in windows32

We have liftoff - yes its working in Tracktion2 now. You have to drop the files in system 32. And you can't put them in a folder first for easy retrieval - which makes me a little uncomfortable. Whith a installer you should be able to remove those files when uninstalling. Also leads me to think of other programs that leave something behind.

Im trying it out now and sounds quite nice.

You could utalize some interesting effect type impulses. You could automate from different patches, middle slider(morth ?), the mix, hi and lo cut, - what whith some type of LFO - is that where your heading.......mmmmmmmm....yesssss..

Or you could morph between rooms............

Yes, cause you have number of plugs and they all look interesting too. Then would it not be tydier to have an installer(that can be uninstalled)specificaly just those files. For example pluggo(cycling74) has to have something installed first befor plugs can run.

Oh, its showing in Cubasis VST4 now.....
