Well thanks to all for your comments and yout time for listening. I take note about the too mutch reverb and the use of delay.
I dont think I'm into 80's music at all :)! Gary Moore, blues, F. Marino etc dont fit in the 80's hair metal bands team at all. But well, I play rock guitar and I like music focused into guitar playing. Really I'm more into Paul Gilbert, Vai etc. I only tryed to show some examples of the tones an amp sim can offer. And for that reason I entitled the tracks after some artist name.
I think amp sims are a great tool. You don't have to be rich to use lots of amps and effects, to have a room prepared to record music, mics, etc etc. The amp sims "democratizes" (sorry for the word) the music production.

Gary Moore doesn't fit into the hair band category that's for sure...but in the 80's he did have a very heavy sound in the 80's, and the sound on your is similar to that. Try listening to We Want Moore, a live album from then. It has what I consider to be one of the best guitar solos I ever heard on the Yardbirds "Shapes of Things", also "Victims of the future" is a great song as well as the album. But you're right neither he nor Frank Marino fit in 80's hair metal. I have a great live video from the early 80's of Gary Moore (too bad it's on VHS) and one of Thin Lizzy with Gary Moore.

I remember back in the day there was a rumor that Marino never played guitar until he had a dream that Hendrix told him he could play and when he woke up, he could...:hihi: I always wondered if that was a local rumor or widespread...either way it's worth a chuckle...;)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Yes, I have the We Want Moore album, and it's great. I have two videos of Moore also. He has strong hands! Yes I know the tale about Marino and his dream lol. Too mutch LSD maybe?
There is a whole lot of guitar players I like, from Hendrix to Jason Becker, definitely I'm not a 80's hair band guy :)
