Pettinhouse drumkits version for DK+ and others

By special agreement with Pettinhouse, we are offering you an edited version of their drumkits. Both are mapped for the NUSofting DK+ and include the waves files. The samples are trimmed and normalised. This is because the original Battery kits that Andrea designed were taking advantage of its ability to select the starting point of the sample. But this was introducing a delay in the playback with the DK+ and some others samplers that do not have this feature.

Two more formats are in the works, FXpansion GURU and the ADD phrase sampler from MESA+.

Download page is HERE

Thank you!

Note that even if you do not own the DK+, you can use the edited waves in any other drum sampler or sampler.

Yet another lovely gesture towards the world of poor-assed musicians.
I really do love these samples.

Congrats for your efforts zvon. As I see in your site you're offering some of your products in the RMIV format. Since I recently bought Tracktion I'm trying to find my way with the included RMIV. How do you make these RMIV kits? You just build them from scratch or use some kind of conversion software? Untill now I'm using SFZ as my main sampler but I'd prefer to use RMIV since it's got multi outs. My goto drumkits are the usual suspects: NSkit7, GSCW kits and recently the Pettinhouse drums.
I started experimenting with Awave and Translator trying to convert from SF2/SFZ to LM4 (RMIV can import LM4) but with no luck. Have you by any chance some link describing the specs of the LM4 format?

Thanx for any info

I always build them from scratch. As you saw on our website, I have the same kits in different formats and each one was built from scratch.

No, maybe someone else can help. As far as I can remember, it's a text file. But you will get better results building yourself the kits. The RMIV has a lot more features than the LM4 and even a conversion will ignore the more advanced features of the RMIV.

Thank you.
