There will be a hardware version of slapclap by Virus. So now you can get that Virus ass slap sound for a decent price.

Props need to show something big.
I suspect Reason 4.0 with even bigger performance tweaks and some new toys.
I hope they enhance the Dr Rex also add some more better sounding filters.

The countdown continues....
will i have enough nails left to bite!!!!
They should put ReCycle into Reason's Dr Rex so we can make new rex files from in Reason and don't need to buy ReCycle for that. And they should include the ReBirth machines (the TB, TR and that cewl PCF fx) so we do not have to use ReWire for that.

Yeah, I'm sure their eager to lose ReCycle sales. Probably fits in great with their current business plans.

I was trying to point out the BS rationalization about their absurdly long development time, being due to their careful attention to releasing bug free software.
There are still a few bugs within Reason 3.04.

Jeez, you are so JADED man! Haha. I was just in Studio City the other day by the way. I used to live there. Do you like Sushi? If so, Katsu-ya is one of the best. I was actually there the day it was opened. No one was in there and I took a chance only to find it the best sushi I ever had.

Sorry guys, off topic. I just noticed John is from Studio City.... and jaded. haha.

I have to say, as much as I see people posting about REASON on KVR I think that Ben should modify the whole philosophy of only "Open platform" software here. How about just MUSIC SOFTWARE for crying out loud? KVR is the best place for that so why exclude any of it (especially when the forum members don't as I've only seen more and more Reason users posting about it). I know, that's a whole other thread but I only bring it up here because I've seen more Reason speculation in NAMM Rumours than any other open platform software so... give the peeps what they want? Everyone bug Ben about it. Haha. Just kidding.

Jaded? I think it's just the reality of business that they would want to generate as much income as possible through their various products. Unless sales for ReCycle have dropped dramatically, I can't see why it would be in their interest to consolidate it into Reason. I don't see that as being jaded, I just see it as common sense.

There's a place called Sushi Dan's that I go to often, which I like a lot. There is another one in the neighborhood called Nozawa's, which according to Zagat's, is supposed to be the best Sushi restaurant in all of LA. I've been there a few times and it is indeed very good. The only problem is that you can't pick anything out. The chef makes all the choices for you. I guess this might be the traditional way to serve it maybe. He also often tells you how you should eat it too... "One bite, no soy sauce!" This has led many locals to refer to him as the "Sushi Nazi". :hihi:

Anyway, I think the highest concentration of Sushi restaurants, in the United States, must be here in Studio City. There must be like an average of 2-3 on every block.

Certainly, via Rewire, Reason behaves much the same as a plugin anyway. I pretty much just use Reason as a synth workstation, with Ableton Live. Perhaps the solution is to consider Rewire to be a plugin protocol of sorts and just add it as such into the database.

Judging by their previous release schedules, I would guess that they are still six months or so away, from announcing Reason 4. Unless they have a 3.5 update in the offing or have accelerated their normal development schedule, of course.

My feeling is, they have something else up their sleeve.

Geee... how can that be, when according to drez, Reason 3.0 only had 2 bugs? Did their bug fix updates add MORE bugs?
