Welllllll.....I'm not sure what it was. I had originally put the samples in the same folder as my other Manytone samples. Manystation Data | Soundsets. MG could not find them. I then moved them up one level remembering having read about that. Still no go.

I then moved them to another drive, thinking that ManyGuitar would ask for a location if it could not find the sample sets (which it did). Still nothing!

I then deleated all the sample sets and reloaded them to the same location and voila! there they were. I don't know.....

Anyway I'll need to put some presets together to take advantage of the different micing. What I hear sounds nice. Thanks for you patience, Paul.

If you have been moving samples about before and altering your Wusik / ManyTone directory structure, that may explain your trouble. Both Wusik and ManyTone Instruments write a soundset location key to the Registry, so once you move soundsets or reinstall any of the individual instruments elsewhere etc. then it could cause trouble but is easily fixed once you know to point everything to the same location (which is easy enough). Not sure if that was your case as it sounds a bit strange, but...

I wouldn't think all instruments are a good choice for disk streaming. Playing fast notes for example sounds more like something that should be done from RAM. Longer drawn out (big Meg) soundsets that are played a little slower are a better candidate for disk streaming.

Email William at Wusik as he thinks the latest beta of Wusik3 fixes this issue.
This goes for anyone else having issues with disk streaming in the last released version of Wusik3.

Yeah Paul - finally got around to downloading this baby and that horrible burst of farting is very evident while disk streaming is on.

Well it is not in the samples and has to do with Williams WusikStation Version3 disk streaming code.

Please email him to report it if you want to see if his latest beta fixes it. He asked for you guys to report the troubles to him so he could trace if it was fixed.

I have downloaded the newest Wusik beta and I will try it tonight. William is definitely working on this.

Unfortunately, Wusik Beta 3.12S doesn't fix the problem. It seemed to at first, but then it started again. Maybe a buffer fills up?

That's why I posted - user confirmation that it's the diskstreaming and nothing to do with KGP.

Please email him to report it if you want to see if his latest beta fixes it. He asked for you guys to report the troubles to him so he could trace if it was fixed.

William says that for some reason his diskstreaming code works at 48/96k but not at 44.1. For now the work around is either to turn diskstreaming off or change the sample rate.

OR use Manystation or Manyone!
