Like DK+ i would like to see the feature where you can trigger the different patterns via midi notes (Lower down on the keys to where the samples themselves are.) What I really would like though is the ability for the pattern to loop with a key press and then finish playing and keep perfect time before the next pattern/key i press comes into play. So if i press the next midi note early it waits to play it until previous pattern finishes.... Then that pattern loops until i hit another. Then a quick way to unlatch the loop mode too ;-) This would make for a Great Live Jam tool too then.

I could implement a fast "live mode" switch using a MIDI note.
Thanks, good idea!
hehe.... no wonder we make so "many" great instruments together ;-)

Ya as long as the midi note you play next comes in on time this will be a very cool feature.

Not sure about this yet. Tried demo. Sounds great but on some presets CPU usage goes extremly high. No idea what causes this but is a consern as my mac is in dire need of replacement.

if you turn off some of the fx (the multitap delay e.g.) cpu use should be better. i've created pretty nice kits that hit my amd 2400+ at only about 1-4% cpu. :)

We are going to optimize more and more the DKS code, but the CPU usage may be high because some presets use a lot of effects (up to 13, counting both the sends and the inserts).
Also fabi made a number of interesting kits with very low CPU usage and I think they will be released by the end of this month.
We have hundreds of presets ready as well... monthly releases are planned.

Not official... but DKS 1.0c is now avaialble for download at http://www.araldfx.com/downloads.php -- PC Only!
It adds pitched drums support, more than 120 new presets and 8 new kits (courtesy of MoonDive), CPU optimizations (15%/40% of CPU load reduction)

More details and the MAC version will follow shortly.

One more thing... This is not the full update you expected (new envelopes), but it should also correct the few DKS problems reported.

It should be worth downloading anyway. :-D

The version 1.0c is now available for MAC too!
You can download the demo and the full version update from the AraldFX downloads page

New features (PC&MAC):
- Added pitched mode support on MIDI channels (2-9)
- More than 120 new presets and 8 new kits (courtesy of MoonDive)
- CPU optimizations (15/40% of CPU load reduction)

Issues solved (MAC only, partial list):
- Crash on sound save (it happens only with some machines)
- Fixed all the issues related to .xml files when loading the plug-in
- Fixed a Bidule compatibility issue (it happened only on MACs set to use the comma as decimal separator)

More details about the 1.0c release coming this week-end.
Note that DKS requires OSX 1.4 or above.
