midi out - goes out of sync

hello all,
here's my problem:
i'm trying to use the xt sequencer in live mode to trigger different loops and sections. my goal is to do this in a band situation - so i'm sending midi notes through midi out - which goes to a drum machine (the drummer listens to this with his headphones as the click track).

all seems to work fine when i first start the sequencer, but as it plays, it gets slowly out of sync (midi out gets further and further behind) usually it takes about a minute or so to slip out of sync. any ideas what is happening or how to remedy this problem?

Yep, eXT1's MIDI Out can cuase problems.

Try using TobyBear's VST2MID or NicFit's MIDI_out http://www.asseca.com/nicfit/midi_out.html or jaltoh's thalamus
