hey Novaflash...
thanx for the explanation..
i was always downloading the double version, fearing it was something connected with SSE and no SSE version...but i was seeing every version in both dress working flawlessly apparently so i was quite dubious about that...
thanx for clearing me up
and for the oxytocin of course...btw i started to use your old ones sometimes to make some weird noises...;)
Peace

yes, crashes my p4 XP version 6. Will try on my other computers to verify.

Post

seems fine on my centrino though. prob something with my ol p4.

will give proper demo when i have time.

VeXKoN, oxytocin use SSE, i don't know if your old p4 have this feature.
But i think is not the problem, but the time to oxytocin to be initialized.
All complex SE project take too many time when it launched.
Thanks to have reported this.

Aahh, June 2nd version sounds better than the March 5th version. Thanks ever so much fellas. It was great anyway. Now it's greater. Thanks again - great work.

This is A Beautiful Synth. Thanks for this incredible machine. Is this the 4th version or release? Are previous banks upwardly compatible?-as I have,as of now 4 versions.Thnx so much!!

Post

lucknow13, "Are previous banks upwardly compatible?", not really,
this is one reason i publish frequently updates, it's easy to retrieve
preset when only one parameters change, but i've made too much changes/enhancements.

all: thanks for thanks ;)

hi apropos,
can you check this version with vista :
http://www.novaflash.com/beta/oxytocin_vista_test.dll

this version include scope, Flemming from yahoo group seems fix it
(but i don't use the same scope) see below the original post
(he talk better english than me :))

"Hmm, maybe it's just me, but i had some problems with the native scope crashing my vista. but if i put the scope inside a container and select 'show controls on module', then it works fine. As said, it may just be me.. but maybe it has something to do with how the graphics are shown on the gui? As long as my scopes are purely structure view, i have no crashes.

I have not tried this method with any other scopes. If anyone does, then let us know the result :)

Flemming"

cheers,
Eric

Unfortunately this version is still crashing on Vista... thanks for your ongoing efforts though! :)

Hi Eric Novaflash,

Just wanna say thanks. Oxytocin loads fine into Zynewave Podium, but very slowly (easily a minute to load without any other stuff running in background)

The sound quality of Oxytocin has improved muchly since first release, although my amd2400+ strains to keep going - my cpu begs for relief.

Cheers

Post

hi m0j0byrd,
thank for report, i will add Podium to the host list.
"1 minute to load" ouch, i know Oxytocin take many time
to be ready (like other big SE project) but with my AMD ahtlon 2200
it load around 15sec with chainer, many more with cubase sx.
