I went to slice up a wav file last night and plain vanilla 16 original slices just moved to a loop as a starting point I got a a lot of pops and crackles between slice points.
I never had this problem with 1.45.
I tried adjusting the original volume and compression of the original loop and whatever else I could think of and the pops and crackles were still there and always in the same transitions.
I gave up trying to get it to work.
Now I don't know if it's something pecuilar to the sample I was working with (I suspect not since I re-recorded it about 4 different times). Maybe tonight I'll try it on something else.
If worse comes to worse,
Can I reinstall 1.45 over 1.46 or should I uninstall 1.46 first? If I uninstall, is 1.45 a full install or was it an update that needed a previous version?

I have never noticed this problem ?!
Maybe you can give us more information, or try to send the audio file you were working on to Ohm.
You don't need to uninstall 1.46. All versions can "cohabit" (just put the DLL in another folder, or remame them I.E. LiveSlice_145.dll etc.)
All versions of LiveSlice are "full installs" (no update)
P.S. If you want to uninstall, you just need to delete the folder containing the Liveslice DLL

I'm experiencing the same thing, but it happens to me when I capture a loop of incoming audio. When it takes over it's full of pops. I'm happy to give more detailed information if it's needed.

First of all - sorry for overlooking the original post - for some reason I don't get email notifications of new topics in my forum... wrench45us: do you still experience this problem? Details would be greatly appreciated. Best is an exact decription of how to reproduce the problem - open host, add plugin to this type of track like this, push this button, etc. etc. so I can reproduce the problem on my own machine. Perhaps in this case a wav sample of the glithes would be nice if I can't reproduce it.
I've tried so far in both energy xt 1.4 and live 6.03 but have been unable to reproduce the problem. I'll be away on vacation until 25th and will look at the problem right after I return.
