violin string

i have been trying to get that violin string sound like from the 70's disco, i have nothing neer it, i hear a part in one of this months contest by IXOX

also the flutes are nice, anyone know what he is using to get this nice sounding insruments or how can i get this sound? preferably in a software/plugin, i like using pattern sequencers in like instead of an actual synth/controller

i would really like to get what ever hes using
