Now that the vote had ended (or is ending??) it's time for a new version of Blip. Didn't want to put it out there before, since it's not really bug fixes but new features.
So... here is what I have now:
- video function: the grid is updated in real-time by a web-cam. It can be all cells, only black cells or only painted cells. You
can also choose the level of modification of the current colors by the video. It's kind of a crazy theremin thing.
- automatic generation of random rhythmic patterns: between that and the random kit creation, you are 2 clicks away from a lots of new loops
- cellular automata: based on the Conway game of life, this lets you evolve a pattern.
- wavesequence: basically the creation of a pattern with only a cell playing at a time. (not that exciting actually
- no more limitation for the size of a sample in the slicer.
I'm typing the doc now, so I will probably have time to add another minor feature or two if you guys think of something you absolutely want to have. So let me know!
Nico.
