Hey everyone!
Has anyone experienced and fixed a problem with both the standalone and VST versions of Plugsound Pro on Windows Vista - the problem being that when loading, (authorises ok) the main window opens and appears to be loading, then it crashes, with an error message - Plugsoundpro.exe has stopped working?
I've tried installing the latest update and the latest version of my graphics card drivers as instructed by USB technical support. I've also tried installing from more than one copy of PSP.
On another occasion, on an XP system, I'm having a problem where the Plugsound window loads but is completely blank - showing none of the expected controls and UI.
I've emailed them back regarding these problem, numerous times over the last couple of months, and they haven't replied? I'm completely stuck!
Any ideas or help that anyone may have, Thankyou in advance.
Dan

Reinstall or install the lastest iLok drivers. Read carefully the install instructions of PSP. It isn't straight forward as most products on PC.
BTW, it works really flawlessly here. The best rompler money can buy.

Hello:
I'm not working to USB or another SW company.
My XP installation is not behaving at its best. Infact I'm having some problems which may lead to OS reinstalL.
Nevertheless PSP works okay. I read the readme files and did exactly what they told. I notice there are two types of installation, depending if one's going to use he serial or the hardware authorizer coming inside the package.
From the sort of problems, right from the start, no gui, no sound, nothing, it makes me thing of an iLok\pace problem.
You did bough the iLok key, didn't you?
PSP is not what i thought it was. The user loops are not managed in a way comparable with Battery, Kontak or LiveSlice. However the rest is so good that make forget about it.

I'd tend to agree about making sure you have the most current iLok files installed. My impression is that overall, iLok is more prone to version issues than other protection schemes. You might want to uninstall completely or use system restore to go back to before the first install...if it was fairly recent.

It's not?! Does iLok say this?ttoz wrote:remember it's not possible with ilok to go to a system restore point before the ilok drivers were installed, it completely corrupts SR.eduardo_b wrote:I'd tend to agree about making sure you have the most current iLok files installed.
