I came across this:
"Cubasis InWired is a cut-down and free version of the acclaimed Cubasis VST. It has 48 audio tracks (supporting WAV and MP3), and 64 midi tracks. It works just like the commercial Cubasis VST in most ways, with support for VST and Direct-X plug-ins, and VST instruments. It was designed to work with the now defunct Rocket Network which allowed you to 'jam' with other musicians located all over he world. However it is still a good tool without the use of the Network, but you can only export your songs as either WAV or RealAudio, and cannot save your compositions before mixing them down."

I'm not sure if it's ok to upload this one or not. Can someone let me know what the deal with Steinberg is about sharing their old software and would anyone find this app useful?

There is no sep files in mine. There plenty of sel files though and those are the effects presets, nothing to see with vst.pinkjimiphoton wrote:cycle of 5th's Sound Engine Free is a very nice free wave ditor in my opinion...while not hosting VSTS, it seems to run on vst tech..it's full of .sep fles and stuff..eidenk wrote:Beam2002 and Beam1001 (maybe already posted, not sure)

I agree it is a nice little wav editor.
And here we have a little voice analysis software that could prove usefull in many circumstances :
