lol third time so far(at least of which i m aware ) that the actual vst creation has been given back to the creator missing the original file, thanks to the preservation thread!!!
yes, yes, this thread works even giving back to the developers their own creations :clown:

if i manage to have time tomorrow from workplace ill go on with the list quoted on 1st page ;)

Sorry for the hijack.................. not

W32/Muma-B is a worm for the Windows platform.

W32/Muma-B attempts to spread to remote network shares with weak passwords.

When W32/Muma-B is installed the following files are created:

<Temp>\aiw69234.exe
<Start Menu\Programs>\aio\Uninstall aio.lnk
<Windows system folder>\FireDaemon.exe
<Windows system folder>\ServUDaemon.ini
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\Autohack.bat
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\IpcScan.exe
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\dll.bat
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\extract.exe
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\hack2.bat
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\hidden32.exe
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\ipcpass.dic
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\ipcscan.bat
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\ipcuser.dic
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\kill.exe
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\mirc.ini
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\moo.dll
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\mrbnc.txt
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\ntshare2.bat
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\psexec.exe
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\remote.ini
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\script1.dll
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\script2.dll
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\script3.dll
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\services.exe
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\store.dll
<Windows system folder>\hidden32.exe
<Windows system folder>\ntshare2.bat
<Windows system folder>\psexec.exe
<Windows system folder>\syshost.exe
<Windows system folder>\testp.bat
<Windows folder>\aio Uninstaller.exe

The files <Windows system folder>\ntshare2.bat, Autohack.bat, hack2.bat,
<Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\ntshare2.bat and script2.dll are detected as W32/Muma-A.
The file IpcScan.exe is detected as Troj/Hacline-C.
Script1.dll is detected as Troj/Zapchas-B.
Script3.dll is detected as Troj/Flood-EA.
Mirc.ini and remote.ini are detected as part of W32/Muma-N.
Hidden32.exe is the potentially unwanted application HideWindow.
The other files are essentially harmless, many of them belonging to legitimate applications.

Registry entries are created under:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Company name\aio\
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\aio\

and harder to download!!
i reccomend if ya have probs to right click the link, strip the counter thing that jams it up off, and then download the links directly.

I tried your advice of right clicking the link to download, but it just downloads a .php file instead?

Also I have scanned Virsyn MicroTera VSTi 25+ times now with Norton, Comodo, Virus Doctor, VirusScan and a few others and there is not one single threat alert going off. I'm still not totally sure that it is infected? Norton would of picked up a Worm for sure? Also I checked and scanned My System a dozen times No W32\Muma-B Worm found or detected anywhere. These are the only five files in my <Windows system folder>\drivers\etc\ folder.
hosts.file
lmhosts.pcm
networks.file
protocol.file
services.file

I guess I just got Lucky?

Right-click, open in new window and you get this junk ...

http://scripts.dsl.pipex.net/sitetracke ... nONEe1.zip

Strip off the beginning part and just leave this ...

I never would have figured this out on my own.

Hey, it's been told several times already. MicroTerra is not a freeware. It's magazineware so don't be surprised or complain to be infected by what is actually warez.

What surprises me is that no moderators, who are usually quick to jump on that kind of things, have said anything about it so far... :?

dunno , the thing that got me thinking about a false alert, was my comodo AV here at work claiming a worm inside microTERA and even (since i m installing some shit at workplace :clown: :ud: ) when downloading and then installing the BetabugsAudio Bundle...now...im pretty sure i scanned even that one before installing it at home, and never had viruses alerts from Avast , or BitDefender, or Norton or whatever i had as AV program at the time...
maybe ill need to ask to someone of the BetabugsAudio crew if they can confirm Comodo being only paranoid, since the strange thing is that he didnt find any worm or menace on all the other plugins that were installing on the machine, only when the setupexe started to unpack monstachorus, then, Comodo got histerical about the worm..
complain to be infected by what is actually warez.
this is very popular urban legend....i saw people on kvr audio claiming all kind of evil things caused by warez, then it came out it wasnt because of warez...
in the same time tho, there have been stuff posted on kvr by the actual developers or creators that was actually REALLY infected..
i mean: we even could see one developer claiming his vst wasnt buggy, and that the bugs were introduced by the evil warez-y keygen!!......yeah! right! :P

Well whatever, what I mean is that MicroTerra should have no place in this thread because it is in fact warez, regardless of the fact it is infected or not.

If MicroTerra is Ok, then Tasman MTM or Tassman Keys should also be, as well as Zebralette and probably some others such as stuff found only in certain CM issues.

Does this make sense or not ?

Where are the friggin moderators ? Meffy ? Bluedad ?

:help:

okie its magware, as many of us already confirmed...
hence as ALREADY pointed out by other in previous posts, magware cannot be shared without breaking the license terms..is it fine now for you?
actually tho the link is on a NON-warez site, and neither Virsyn nor the german mag that released the cdrom with that inside still had ANY issue with the site, that actually is quite popular between the LEGAL sites..
none shared Zebralette, none shared Tassman mag versions and the rest, we're just pointing out a link on a (ill tell again) LEGAL site..

so? what's the point of calling NOW the moderators?
want this thread getting a lock or what?
why should we need ALWAYS to get a mod to sort out of arguments?

BTW gentlemen, although i have very different opinions about that, lets avoid to get hardons to the thought-police ...in such cases lets keep it pvt or on the raiders' group pages, please
