I was just hinting that writing flaming letters to behringer won't help and some of the stated ideas - whilst out of fun - are quite destructive

tomg is not a troll. he's a helpful guy with a lot of stuff to give back. he's probably done way more for anyone than jens has, who i've not seen do anything besides ruffle feathers and get into confrontations with others about.

While I'd never defend his attitude, to be fair to him Jens was for a long time one of the people most familiar with EnergyXT 1.x as well as being one of the most active in helping out and sharing that knowledge.

anyway: I shouldn't even post here anymore - I'm sitting in an internet café right now where I actually just went to quickly check my mails, etc. - I cancelled the contract for my internet-connection at home since the internet is not healthly thing, at least for me (and many of you others as well, I suppose), and my time and my life is much too precious to be wasted that way.

So what am I doing here?


I'm arguing to defend myself against a bunch of guys who should get a life ffs - just like in the worst days of my internet-addiction.

Gamble, rest assured, if its one thing I will NOT do is flame Behringer for this. I will however bring it to Uli's attention that the lack of support and developer interaction is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.

Sorry if what I wrote has caused you enough grief to quit this forum. No harm or flames intended, but I think you can tell by the content of my (earlier) post I want what all other people in this forum want: Either fix XT2.5 or refund my money.

Jens, I have to commend you though... you have proved to us what we already thought was happening here. Apparently Jorgen has bailed out of the project or had very, very little input for at least more than a year, from what I can tell... this is sad, and just as equally irresponsible.

I would like to remain hopeful that Uli could rescue this DAW and hire his own programmers and deliver the goods. It seems to be the only thing that is fair or right at this point in the game.

Like I say, I will wait... two weeks for a response... and if nothing happens, I will send a letter to Uli Behringer, and go from there.

5 months without any updates when there's still so much that needs fixing and doing.(the 14th november beta was the 18th of august one renamed)
5 months with no developer feedback (just lies)
5 months hoping for a major release to come only to find ourselfs at the same point we were in august.

sorry, but then you must be blind or something - I'm never 'ruffling feathers' without a reason - I don't enjoy quarelling - but I enjoy helping others, answering questions, etc. and my posts are proof of this. Please be so fair as to check the validity of your perception.

Tomg has never given any user support on this forum as I have - I was always there to answer users' questions - not tomg.

are you kidding me? you and sickle have battled for as long as i've been here. i'm pretty sure there are others (i cant think of any off the top of my head) that you've had run ins with, but the posts i've read by you seem to be more often than not confrontational in nature, and antagonistic. maybe i just dont see all the good samaritan stuff you do, or maybe it's a language barrier. you've said yourself that you sometimes struggle with english if i recall.

hm...I'll give them the coming weekend for fixing all this, or i'll send them a serious email like others proposed giving a reference to this Thread ... which imho shows the immense disappointment in this forum ... it was different once with 1.X beta testing, and i consider it hard to believe that a simple buyout and a NDA may throw it all off the cliff... and even an NDA should not prevent them from giving status reports or delay announcements ... that wouldn't be non-disclosure, it'd be called marketing...

and i see a lot of bad marketing with XT2 since last year...
