Hey folks,

I started an audio blog on which I will post my homegrown sample packs etc.
There are already 3 packs online (gratis, free, umsonnst! :D) When ever I will find time I will put up some new packs, write some reviews when I buy new gear or software and I will start to bundle some of sound patches I made (NI/.ksd files)

I hope you like the samples (24 bit @ 44.1 kHz) and feel free to leave me a comment :)

Just bookmark, I will be working on it whenever I find a bit of time ;)

Have you considered added RSS to you blog?

Thank you.
Can't download the glitch pack though. Rapidshare says the max amount of 10(!) downloads has been reached.

You might also want to add short demo beats/pieces to preview the sounds before downloading.

Also the CC license you link to doesn't allow for derivative works

To me it looks like if anyone was to use your samples in a song they would be violating the license. The purpose of this license is more for complete works such as finished songs. You might want to try this license.

Also I would suggest using a hosting service other than one like rapidshare if you want to be taken seriously. I for one don't like jumping through hoops or waiting in queues in order to download something I may not end up wanting. Things like sample libraries work best when people can download them on an impulse, it might be a bit ADD of me but if I see something like rapidshare that says just wait a minute and then you can download something I usually just close the window and look elsewhere. A lot of people seem to like box.net.

Thank you for the license tip, already changed it! Someone of the FreeSound Project recommended the previous one to me.

The Rapidshare is temporary, I upgraded my hosting and asap all the links will be hosted on my own domain. I decided very spontaneous to start blogging and I did not expect to generate over 1500 hits in 2 days. The link on dontcrack.com is really doing it's job :)

Thank you for your thoughts! :D

Glad I could help. Licenses can be a tricky thing to figure out. I look forward to checking out your stuff.
