I am getting a user download system working as part of the web page. You will be able to log into the web page and click on download links to retrieve your personal build with your name and serial number pre entered into it. Till then I will release updates via email as I have just done to you.Mercado_Negro wrote:Thanks, I just received it. I'll keep on touch with you if I find something (bugs), have a nice day.andy_cytomic wrote:I'll check on that now, I did sent out links to your build this morning so perhaps something went wrong.

One question, if you update it will you send all users their new builds automatically? Right now is v1.0.7

If the trial crashes then so will the full version, so please hold off until there is a working trial. Expect a bug fixed version by the weekend.haudegen wrote:Andy does the payed version work with Logic PRo 8, because the trail crashes all my projects.
want to know this before buying

Thanks for the information Andrew and thanks for making clear that nfr header in my mail. Btw, what's nfr? just curious.andy_cytomic wrote:I am getting a user download system working as part of the web page. Not For Retail, that subject line in the email was the one left over from me sending emails to my core testers and musos using The Glue.Mercado_Negro wrote:Thanks for the information Andrew and thanks for making clear that nfr header in my mail. So beta testers get NFR's and regular consumers later a "normal" license? There's a controvery started over at the market place that TheGlue will be a "not for resale" plugin.andy_cytomic wrote:Not For Retail, that subject line in the email was the one left over from me sending emails to my core testers and musos using The Glue.

Andy's official response on the previous page...
andy_cytomic wrote:The problem with transfers is that once you have a copy of The Glue I can't stop you from running it, so in effect you selling it on means you still get to run it unless you want to invite me over to your place and do an extensive search of all dvds / hds / usb keys etc, which just isn't an option.
I have to think about how to handle license transfer, but for now there are none. If this is a requirement for you buying the plugin then please *don't buy it*. If I had a dongle system then I would definitely offer transfers since you would not be able to run the plugin without the dongle, so perhaps wait until then to make your purchase if you are keen to transfer your license.

I am yet to work out what I will allow with regards license transfers. Since there is an almost full working Trial please everyone that insists on the right to buy a plugin one day and sell it the next *don't buy The Glue* until I sort out how I will approach this, just use the Trial.Compyfox wrote:So beta testers get NFR's and regular consumers later a "normal" license? Yes, till I have sorted out what a fair thing is I will not be processing or taking license transfers on the beta version of The Glue. I will have an official stance before the launch of the final product and that will also apply all owners regardless of purchase date.Colin Bennett wrote:Andy's official response on the previous page...

No. I sent an email with the incorrect subject line. People buying The Glue now receive full versions and have full rights.Compyfox wrote:So beta testers get NFR's and regular consumers later a "normal" license?
