Clearly you PC users are a much nicer bunch. Us Mac users wouldn't let it lie so easily.

Wow, you guys on here willing to let past performance by the devs be forgotten or the one guy saying it was only $40 lost, you really are generous in spirit. I salute you.

Ok I got my new serial for the new T-Pro bundle which included the two drum machines which obviously weren't in it before.. Plus its just a username and serial so no more problems with registration..

Is that really a fair comparison?? Its not like everybody was 100% dependent on only SuperWave software and had to stop producing music when they disappeared..spaceman wrote:"oh sorry that I locked you up in a dark room for 4 years, threw away the key and only fed you expired cans of soya beans..

This stuff maybe old or whatever but it sounds good to me and I have all kinds of synths. Nobody complains about old hardware synths. Anyway you can try them all for 21 days without restrictions according to their web site to see if you like anything about them. PS I can understand why so many are pissed at this company but during that time frame I wasn't into the software synth scene so I didn't even know about these guys. No beef, but I won't cross the picket line and send them cash until they make a statement and at least try to improve their rep. They owe that to folks I think.
Peace
Peace

Yeah, you could be right because after messing around a little more with this stuff there are some technical issues I'm discovering. To me that's the real issue.realisation wrote:I won't be supporting pooperwave

dont know how you guys manage to be such kind with them...
if i was a Superwave user, i would have been pretty pissed off..
those guys behaved in an awful way, AT LEAST they could do some decent move for previous users and offer the whole new pack as counterpart of YEARS leaving them with pointless software that couldnt be installed unless using a keygen..
IMO they totally deserve to sell not a single unit of their stuff, thing that sadly wont happen, letting them have the chance for pissing off some more users...
they have no understandable explanation that can be made for explaining years of disappearing letting their users with stuff that couldnt be used...
my 2 cents anyway

Theres some great synths that sound amazing out there using ck's synthedit modules for free if you want that kind of sound.
Otherwise, there are some great companies (see forum list) that create some great synths that rival anything they make and actually have supported their software proactively for a long time - if you really want the biggest supersaw look no further than alchemy
but it also does loads of other things as well.
Superwave isn't a company, its some guy trying to make a quick buck copying hardware synths looks - i'm surprised that roland or korg havent sued them yet, well is it any wonder who has been able to get a hold of them for the last 5 years .

Their support page was just updated:
Important Information:
For existing users who require re-authorisation of SuperWave products
If you previously own any SuperWave products using the challenge-response authentication system, then you need to download and install the very latest demo versions of SuperWave products before acquiring an unlock code.
If you purchased the Mega Bundle which contained the Performer, Trance-Pro and Professional, then download the T-Pro Bundle and Standalone version of the Performer for installation.
If you purchased the T-Pro Bundle which contained the Trance-Pro and Professional, then download the T-Pro Bundle for installation.
If you purchased a standalone product, then download a single product for installation.
All new authorisation codes sent out to existing customers use the new authorisation system which is not bound to computer hardware, you can run the VSTi's on as many PC's as you like.
Acquiring an unlock code for existing users
You will need to send us proof of purchase, forward your order summary to the following email address: support@superwavesynths.co.uk
If for any reason you have lost your order summary, then send us your full name and email address at time of purchase so we can identify you in our database records.
We will then generate your new authorisation codes and send them to you via your email address.

I was just thinking today, considering all the drama the past few years, that if Chris really didn't give a f*ck about existing customers he could have easily re-branded his stuff and created new GUIs...Nobody would have ever known for sure it was him..
But instead he has decided to stick with the SuperWave name, take care of old customers and implement a new serial system. Doesn't quite fit with the recurring KVR legend of the evil SuperWave overlords who destroy all in their path...
Like I said already nobody knows what problems he might have had in the past few years..maybe its something private that he doesn't want aired in public.. We just don't know..
The only problem I have with SuperWave stuff now is the SynthEdit multicore bug which looks like it will be taken care of pretty soon anyway..
As for the comments about other supersaw synths being just as good, IMO the only synths I have heard that are similar in sound quality to these were Sylenth1 (which I own), Helix and Adventus.. The rest just don't have that edge...
