Hello all,

Just wanted to let you know about an iPhone/Touch music app I recently submitted to the app store called bleep!BOX. It's a drum machine / synth box (a groovebox I guess) - all synthesized in realtime on the iphone (no samples used). It features 10 parts - 6 drum parts (some of which can do double duty as synths) and 4 synth parts (which can also be used as percussion

. It has a full set of parameters to tweak (50+) and it has several options to facilitate live performance (more coming!).

ooh ill have a look at this.
ive been having fun running one of the other drum sample players, using the pads, through my bugcrusher.
im thinking synthetic drums is far more fun

like a big electribe on the iphone (let's say ER1+2 EA1)?

Yep, I have a few of the electribes and they were definately a big inspiration.

One thing I didn't like with the ER was the floppy sounding bassdrums and weak snares - I allow for much sharper exponential envelopes to give my drums a little more bite (envelope shape is controllable). Love the 'tribes bleeps and bloops though.

Dave, you might want to get your app on Wired's Iphone music app page from a couple days ago (admitted, a couple of days ago is an enternity in news)

It's not out yet - it will probably be a week or so before it's approved. It will cost $10 (US). Cheaper than BeatMaker but not as cheap as some of the other ones.
