i think we all value his input, but the man is in his right to know what annoys him like sh%t... maybe he really wants to buy some beers, and needs the changes.

Also bought it now by the way...

The questions is: how can this beat SPL Phonitor! :D

Finally got it working and I must say I didn't like it at first, which was pretty much a shock, because I usually buy all your stuff instantly :)
After testing some presets and fiddling with settings I'm sure I'll be getting this one also soon.
Nice work and thanks very much for the modified version; it's much easier on the ears now :)

bManic had a very valid point, this is a mixing tool that you can't really evaluate in two minutes, you'll want to actually mix something. Mixing is very delicate process (at least if you do it professionally), I, too, would go totally bonkers if I'd get -20dbfs beeps every fifteen seconds when I'm really trying to concentrate on the sounds and stereo field.

Props to the dev tho for listening and at least alleviating things.

Just got a chance to boot into Windows and try this thing. Wow! It can simulate different reference monitors? I was thinking of picking up some Yamahas for that "foward sound", as a second opinion...not only can you simulate listening environs in your headphones, you can simulate other speakers. Brilliant.

I'm going to have to do a test mix with this and see how it turns out. This could really give Redline Monitor a run for its money; too bad there's no Mac version.

Did I say $20. I meant €20, which is $28.60 today. Still pocket change, but not by much. :scared:

- the beep is replaced by white noise
When was the vote? I LIKE the BEEP! We should have a KEEP THE BEEP campaign. bmanic isn't going to buy the Plug-In anyway (by the 'sound' of things)!

You put the "P" in "PC". :P

I have to agree fully to bmanic - reading that there was that beep I've promptly skipped that download ago. That is so horrible if you need to have some careful listening to judge it. Showstopper, absolutely.
I'm downloading now, though I'm a little bit sceptic about the room simulation since I'm expecting to have "accoustic treated" studio rooms of course :P
Will check that...

There's something weird going on with the room acoustics. When I select Room size: Small it's bigger sounding than Large setting (well it's sounding more like in a big bathroom).
Also the Cabinet Types are a bit low quality; I mean it's not that bad sounding thru quality speakers. I have the KRK speakers and they are not sounding like that.

Just passing by giving my +1 to bmanic's complaint and +1000 to Jeroen for listening to the feedback :)

FWIW thick really does describe people who couldn't grasp what the big deal about the obnoxious beep was :D Then again, thinking things through has always appeared to be an overrated thing hereabouts...

Perhaps there oughta be a sticky somewhere on the forums with some kinds of guidelines for these demo version things, I find it really odd that after so many years BEEEP we're still seeing BEEEP and HEARING these kind of extreme demo restrictions BEEEP.

Congratulations to Jeroen in any case for yet another useful tool added to his offerings.
