How many disks do we get with trillian?
The paper manual says there are 5 , the computer manual says ther are 6.
Mine came with 5.

Definitely 5 disks yes.

Omnisphere IIRC ships with 6 discs. I popped the Trilian and Onmi upgrades packs into my older Atmoshpere and Trilogy boxes. Thought I would not need Atmosphere and Trilogy anymore after upgrading both but how wrong can you be...

The upgrade packs are very nicely presented IMO by the way. The usual high level of Spectrasonics attention to detail.

Yep, well done.

But I would have prefered them to contain some uninstallers, too.

I'm a bit amazed that almost no one seems to really miss such a basic general purpose software function.

Are there any synth multis ? When I go through the multis ,
And get to the synth default folder , it says ,Default user synth multi cannot be loaded.Is there a new trillian fretless electric? the only electric fretless I can find is in are from trilogy?

afaik, the fretless stuff is either remastered older stuff or trilogy.

As a big dummy, it often amazes me at the little stuff that I don't know but usually figure out.

Edit/solo/"little l to left" (which I'm assuming means legato) is the enemy for many patches imo. Now, this isn't a criticism, I'm saying how cool is it that it can be removed to give the more pronounced sound I'm looking for

Just a dumb little thing I wanted to share, carry on!

A couple of questions (I think these were answered earlier but I can't find it):

If you own Trillian and Omnisphere, is there any benefit to opening the Trillian plugin to use Trillian sounds over simply using Omnisphere to play them?

Does Trillian contain all the patches of Trilogy, and thus I can uninstall Trilogy without any real loss?

Omnisphere offers more synthoptions like granular and ringmod and if you happen to have an idle part in omni you could save a bit of ram by not having to open the Trilian GUI.
TRilogy sythpatches are in the worx and are announced to arrive in december as a free download

I have never really looked to be honest. I guess the vast majority (maybe up to 90 -99%) of their customers really are not concerned about it.

I think Spectrasonics probably get little or no feedback through their Tech support route about the issue so that may be why their new plugs have no uninstallers.

Maybe all that is needed to uninstall is to delete a few folders and thats it. Or as I have seen before some plugs have an uninstall file placed where the plugins installed. Click on that and the uninstall process starts.

I think for ease of use it probably should have an uninstaller but maybe somehow after installation an uninstall process can still be started..even though Tril and Omni have no listing in the Programs > Uninstall area in Windows (7 here).

Atmosphere and Trilogy have uninstallers AFAICT...so guess maybe Omni and Trilian should as well (if they do not already have some way to uninstall).

I would guess Spectrasonics could patch the apps to include an uninstaller if need be. Personally I have zero interest in ever removing the plugs from my system

but...I do wonder though if I someone did need to reinstall to a different location (much larger hard drive maybe) how would one remove the previous install?

this is exactly my (only) point. I want to be able to do a clean uninstall/install cycle whenever I need to do. Edit: even these days screwed installations can happen to occur.

I already have contacted the Spectrasonics support on that and I'll report back here.
