I think that might have been what Xenos was hinting at 6 posts above yours.luxth wrote:I have to say that i'm a bit surprised none of the many good sound designers here released yet some refill for this drum synth, considering that i believe it sold many copies due to the unconventional selling formula it had at the beginning.
Is anyone working to that? Just wondering.
Thanks for this update, IL. It's very stable so far, I'm enjoying tweaking and I'm getting nice sounds.
Drumpad is a very generous bonus. I will use this a lot.
Oh, and my old reg code worked fine, too.

Just checked FL studio site and there was a lot of tutorials of FL9. Here http://flstudio.image-line.com/documents/whatsnew.html
...And one tutorial named FL studio 9 was on Russian language, where in the most start kid speak: "Just released a new FL9, great features in there and thanks to those who already cracked it, so i can use it..."

Ah...Sorry. Didn't mean to add steps. I guess it just sees the old reg code. That's even better.Igro wrote:Interesting, i just installed new demo version upon older version without changing the reg key. And it's still works and registered.Jake Jackson wrote:That method of updating seems to be a good way to prevent theft\warez. I'd much rather have to download a new reg code than use a dongle.sinkmusic wrote:Thank youJake Jackson wrote:You go to your personal page on the Imageline site, download the new version, install it, download a new reg file, and then double-click on the reg file to register the new version. Takes about a minute, all in in all.
I am not used with this quite unusual way of doing, but i followed your hints and it worked fine

Image Line puts the reg code in Windows into the registry. This won't be removed if you uninstall/reinstall the program. That's why a lot of you didn't need to re-enter your code.
On OSX there is no registry so you'll need to re-enter your code when you delete the software. That's probably why some of you don't need to re-enter the code and some of you do.

On the mac it goes into the users preference folder, so if they don't throw that out, the new one shouldn't be needed.bmrzycki wrote: On OSX there is no registry so you'll need to re-enter your code when you delete the software. I replaced it with a new one myself though.
Drumaxx is great once you spend some time programming it.
I can't pull myself away from it.
I'll definitely come out with some presets for this in the future fo sure.

Cool, mcnoone. Your ZebraCM presets are fantastic. I look forward to anything you come up with.mcnoone wrote:On the mac it goes into the users preference folder, so if they don't throw that out, the new one shouldn't be needed.bmrzycki wrote: On OSX there is no registry so you'll need to re-enter your code when you delete the software. Xenos wrote:You're absolutely right, Cordelia. Image-Line's got me working on some more new sounds for Drumaxx. I'm not sure if they will make this a paid collection or if it'll be made freely available to all registered users...it IS turning out to be a pretty large batch (200+ drum sounds at this writing, plus several drum kits to showcase them all).

Unfortunately OSX version of drumpad was never released, and we don't plan it in future so far. Drumpad assumed to be exclusive (and free) for FL Studio users, but later we decided to release it as VST version on PC.

Durrr, I should read help files before I make suggestions. It turns out item #1 on my list was already enabled, I just didn't see where the control was.
I'd still like to see item #2 and #3 implemented. Maybe Image-Line will release another update, beyond the update they already released.
I'm also beginning to really want a button that allows the sequencer to sync with the host. I understand the usefulness of having the beat NOT synced to the host, but sometimes having it synced is good too.

Lowkus wrote:Additional features that would be nice to have...
1) Saving/Loading of individual drum sounds to files on the hard drive (probably a file extension like *.dmpad or *.dmsnd).
2) A "swap" button to flip-flop the pad location of two drum pads. Right now doing a location swap involves a complicated copy/paste method that requires an empty cell to temporarily hold the clipboard contents.
3) Memory of which pad was last selected when moving between the two pad banks. Right now a bank change doesn't change the selected cell location, which makes it difficult to compare two differently located pads between the two banks.

Hi, just one question, anyone knows a cheaper/free alternative, some good pressets would be great too?
I have played with the demo and found it great but I already have missed the initial promotion and it is too expensive.
Thanks.
