Hi Folks,
I purchased a used copy of Linplug RMIV. I've changed my PC system to Windows 7 64-bit and Cubase 5.5.2 64-bit.
Is Linplug RMIV compatible to Windows 7 64-bit and Cubase 5.5.2 64-bit or do I have to upgrade to Linplug RMV for it?
Thanks 4 help and Infos & Greetz from Germany
Andy

Yes, since january, all LinPlug Plugins are 32/64bit and compatible with Windows7 and Mac osx 10.6...
Take a look into the news....
Jan 10: Alpha, Organ 3 and RM V for Windows 7, both 32 bit and 64 bit. and OSX 10.6. Albino, CronoX and Octopus are already available for Windows 7, Mac OSX to follow soon.

thanks Frank. But is RM IV one of those too who are 64bit compatible? If yes then I don't need to upgrade for money you know?! the RM IV features are enough for me because I#m looking for a machine like this who are in 64bit, and who can import my old Steinberg LM4 and LM4 mk2 files. I#ve made a lot of songs with them in the past when I#m on windows xp 32bit and I like to feature them again with the original drum sounds. I can't install LM4 mk2 on 64bit you know.

Well, as far as i can remember, RM IV isn't 64bit because at the time when rm5 was released, all the plugins were only 32bit.. PLease, download the RM5 Demo and try to load in your LM2 drumkits, i really cannot remember if it's posssible or not...

RMIV is not native 64 bit, it might (!) work in a wrapper, it quite surely works with a 32 bit host.

What do I have to do to load Steinberg LM4 FXP Files into RM V?
Can't find anything about that in the RM V Manual.

Use the "Import" function of the kit browser, it automatically detects a LM-4 file (usually)
