Congratulations on the new website, name, and plugins line up !
Already purchased Isone and thank you for the coupon.
Actually i was wondering if for the bundle there will also be a coupon for the ones who, like me, bought the bundle from the good old days.
I didn't have time yet to check the new Isone (damn... this plugin is so great!) but it was great news to read that all the plugs were rebuilt from scratch. How can very good be better ? I guess i'll see by myself in the next few days
Nevertheless, some choices surprise me a little, and even though they surely are fully justified and even though you undoubtedly are a wise and talented guy how knows what he does, i'd like to tell what i think.
-The speaker drop down menu in the former Isone was great ! Why did you take it off ? It was a quick way to shift between different freq. responses and i thought, wow, this is real luxury to be able to switch instantly from full freq. to auratone like speakers to boombox. Now the task is way more tedious and takes time, not too good for the workflow.
-Speaking of forkflow, the bypass buttons were actually very convenient on the former plugins, i don't think it's the same to bypass with the host when you're tweaking, imho.
-I can't believe the new compressor doesn't have some features from RedPhattPro like the two ratios 1 and 2. That was such a unique approach. Especially now that there is also the Easy Compressor, it thought that it could have kept some complexity. Again, i mention i didn't have time yet to hear the new plugins, but now the compressor seems more like just another compressor.
-Same for Ferox, and Compyfox seems to say the same on another thread, it seems more like just another tape sim. while some unique features like the feedback are gone. Or is it part of the character parameter ? I know i should have checked the demo before i write but i just can't right now.
-No more modulation button on the reverb ?
-Some more minor criticism : unless i missed something, it is not very clear that the key file should be in the vst folder as well. Though it's pretty easy to guess, i didn't see it mentioned in the installation page.
-And no manual for Isone !? I can refer to the one from the former version, but for a newcomer, setup could be a little troublesome since the head etc.. parameters are a bit mysterious.
Please forgive me for pointing this out, it's just that your plugins are too excellent and hence deserve frankness.
I'm glad to see you are in constant evolution and wish a lot of (well deserved) success to Tone Boosters.
The new design looks pretty good and the price is a big surprise, incredibly inexpensive for such a quality !
Thank you !
