The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Similar story but instead of wanting to shell out for one Nix, My 6 year old daughter wants one, Makes a point of coming to the local to remind me about it verbatim. She is welcome to one of my Jackson DKMG's or anything else really just to play on to learn with/fiddle with but is not intrested. Still if i do end up being bullied into it (*highly likely via a slow painful grind and the 'look' which is terrifying*) and she don't actually play it then it would be ripe for butchering or just looking so damned metal strapped on. Decent drop in humbucker and some heavy gauge strings may be useful as a stunt axe

W00T!
Just scored a Samick Blues Saraceno Radio 10 (standard bridge, not the Floyd) for 200 clams on eBay.
I've wanted one of these things forever. Very psyched about this!

Twin daddy? I'm-a-twin daddy with a coupla 5yo boyz. They're already shredding on some $10 'ukes' with fishing-line strings, so I may just be springing for the real deal sooner than later.hibidy wrote:Of course
Cool, then I can enjoy the twins ( and their older brother)
The Catocaster looks mighty schweet, but I think the first stop will be one of those First Act jobs from the Toys-r-us with the built in speaker. ~$69 and totally playable!
