Bought it too, I really like this kind of thing and always nice to have a library and instant access to presets for CC automations.
Although I sorely miss just being able to load single waveshapes from a list (switching presets changes everything), and also a quick way (midi notes would be ideal) to change shapes during a song instead of opening up an automation envelope manually and drawing in the change in the DAW.

+1 for sure!V'ger wrote:Bought it too, I really like this kind of thing and always nice to have a library and instant access to presets for CC automations.

And,what about an automable parameter to globally shift the waveform in the time axis?Would be very creative and useful to obtain "phase delay" FX!
Actually there are two buttons but I can't automate them...

Hmm you could copy and paste the waveform to different slots, and move it in each slot, and automate which one is used. But I must admit that this is just a very indirect workaround.AgiKvr wrote:And,what about an automable parameter to globally shift the waveform in the time axis?Would be very creative and useful to obtain "phase delay" FX!

I guess we'll do the loaing of single waveshapes sometime for Curve, and then it's likely that all our other plugins benefit from that and get it as well.V'ger wrote:Although I sorely miss just being able to load single waveshapes from a list (switching presets changes everything), and also a quick way (midi notes would be ideal) to change shapes during a song instead of opening up an automation envelope manually and drawing in the change in the DAW.
Changing shapes via MIDI notes would be cool. These things are actually often quite easy to program, the more difficult task is how to do it without getting a more complicated user interface. Ideas welcome!

I have not tried it, but maybe it works? You can give the demo version a try: http://www.cableguys.de/downloads.htmllingyai wrote:If you could show that this works in Acid Pro 7, man oh man...
Let me know if it works, would be interested!

maybe just a little and simple field near the ten wave numbers where you can see the midi note keys (associated to the wave)and drag them up&down to select the desired midi key.(sorry for my baaad english,Ihope I explained)Jakob / CableGuys wrote: Changing shapes via MIDI notes would be cool. Great, nice to know individual loading of shapes will come (hopefully soon). The best would of course be a single click browser type without having to open any dialogs etc.Jakob / CableGuys wrote:I guess we'll do the loaing of single waveshapes sometime for Curve, and then it's likely that all our other plugins benefit from that and get it as well.V'ger wrote:Although I sorely miss just being able to load single waveshapes from a list (switching presets changes everything), and also a quick way (midi notes would be ideal) to change shapes during a song instead of opening up an automation envelope manually and drawing in the change in the DAW.

About changing shapes via midi notes, I meant just the 10 within a preset. How about a little preference box (even on the back page) where one can set which channel and notes one wants to use?

I wonder though.. lets say you attach C1 to wave1, F1 to wave2 etc. If you use MidiShaper on a synth track, playing F1 to change the waveform will also give a note for the synth. If you use MidiShaper on an audio track, only few hosts allow MIDI notes input to MidiShaper. But I see that there is this wish (we also had this wish for FilterShaper and VolumeShaper), so how is it set up?V'ger wrote:About changing shapes via midi notes, I meant just the 10 within a preset. @Jakob. I sent you a message through your website a few hours ago about buying the plugin NOT using shareit. I haven't got a reply yet and since you're here now I thought maybe you could look into it. Thanks!

Ah it's just much more fun to be in the forum instead..jensa wrote:@Jakob. I sent you a message through your website a few hours ago about buying the plugin NOT using shareit. I haven't got a reply yet and since you're here now I thought maybe you could look into it. Thanks!
Kidding.. it's just that currently emails drop in a little faster than I am able to answer them. Paying via PayPal or bank transfer (instead of shareit) is both great. I'll get back to you tomorrow! What an exiting day..

That's why it ought to be configurable which notes and channels to use. So someone with a wide keyboard could just set up the lowest or highest octave as changers.Jakob / CableGuys wrote:I wonder though.. lets say you attach C1 to wave1, F1 to wave2 etc. If you use MidiShaper on a synth track, playing F1 to change the waveform will also give a note for the synth. I only have 49 keys so for Reaper I would use a midi channels mapper (like MidiKarval's) to double the input to separate channels and then JS: whatsup/MIDI_Tool.reaplg plugin after Midishaper to filter only the single channel getting through to the synth. (and save the whole thing as an FX chain to load up every time)
The point with midi notes is to be able to play or try out in real time what shape fits where and more importantly be able to record it. Of course if there could be an easier way like just clicking buttons and having their CC's recorded neatly (and edited just as easy) that would of course be better.

Just wondering if the development has halted or slowed down on Midishaper now that it's out of beta and for sale ?
In otherwords, if we make good ideas/requests here or privately - that are reasonable to code... how likely is it they would be implemented, in what kind of time frame ?
cheers
