Can anyone recommend a decent iPad MIDI controller that can do scales + vibrato?

Hey, been loving Morphwiz on the iPad but impatient for the MIDI controller version --- Geosynth is AWESOME but no scales, thumbjam fun but I can't get used to shaking the screen for vibrato
- synthx nice but again no vibrato. The kind of vibrato I'm looking for is like a guitar - you shake your finger.

Animoog has a fantastic keyboard that can do all that as well as poly AT but sadly it doesn't have a midi out yet - I hope they will add one

Mmm yeah but not ones that will limit which notes get played, unless I'm very much mistaken?topaz wrote:Geo has scales.
Shame about Animoog... I need one NOW!

It highlights what notes to play, and you can set the root note with drone.

Yeah... I'd like to find one that will allow attention free mad scales runs... can't do that so easy on Geo, much as I love it.topaz wrote:It highlights what notes to play, and you can set the root note with drone.

SynthX does the scale limiting thing really well, but unfortunately doesn't send anything other than notes through MIDI.
Too bad Thumbjam won't let you assign tilt to vibrato amount.

Does Soundprism do vibrato? Feel like I've fallen into bit of a gap in the market here.. (?)fridtjof wrote:I really like Soundprism Pro and PolyArpSeq (or whatever it's called) they both have plenty of scales.

Hi,
I think Wiksnet "Midi Studio" it's what you looking for. You can use in this app - key scale, vibrato, arpeggiator, and other features like modulation pads, drum pads, velocity with touch sensitivity, knobs (which very useful when creating a sound), faders, etc...
See details here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/midi-stu ... 20275?mt=8

Good luck!
