A short ambient piece, very tonal. The Csound equivalent of Easy Listening.

Created with Jean-Pierre Lemoine's AVSynthesis. AVS uses Csound for its audio engine.

One uncomplicated analog synth, with a dash of ring modulation, some waveguide filtering, and a little reverb. Simple.

Hi Dave, don't see you on here much.

Nice track. Strange but nice :)
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Hi Will,

It's been a rugged year, lots of family stuff going on. But I've been busy. I have a lot of new songs, hopefully soon I'll start getting them recorded and posted.
Nice track. Strange but nice :)
Thanks, I thought/hoped you might like this one. I needed to make something peaceful. Peaceful is a rare commodity in my life these days, I gotta make my own. :)

Best,

Thanks - enjoyed listening to that, interesting and relaxing at the same time.

Very nice indeed. Peaceful, but with an air of expectation. Great sounds.

Soothing and aptly named. I enjoyed it. Thank you.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I appreciate it. The piece is pretty dismissable, as Csound pieces go, but if you'd like to check it out in its original setting, here's the video it accompanies:

It's just a simple color/overlay study with AVSynthesis.

Best,
