So I've been interested in getting my rock music going. And so I'm curious what guitar plugins can you guys recommend me? I got Slayer2, and ManyGuitar as well as Virtual Guitarist. What more is there?

Electri6ity (Vir2), or Evolution Electric Guitar (OrangeTree samples). These produce believable guitar parts at least to my jaded ears.

I just started to use Prominy V-metal plugin and I find it very useful. Tons of variations and very expressful for a nonguitarist like me
My first idea using it here:

As for rock sound Orange Tree Samples Electric guitar is great. But I think I'm going to buy Indiginus Torch (that's a Strat if I'm correct) for some more delicate playing (or if you're into prog rock etc.) after updating my Kontakt

Thanks ObiK. Will download and test the free version. However I already own Guitar Rig 4 though.

This would be great fun with GR4
For the low end, punching out some raucus rythms and string/pitch bends,
DVS Guitar, with a couple Camel Crushers and a reverb, is also great fun.
Especially when layered with a synth of choice.

Surprised no one has mentioned AAS modelling plugins yet. Got a sale running at the moment. Sound pretty convincing, particularly with decent effects.

I'm using Orange Tree Evolution Electric Guitar and Indignus Torch for electric sounds.
Vir2's Electri6ity and samples from Pettinhouse are also worth checking out.

EW QL MOR1, FABFOUR and MOR2.Vienna overdrive.
Shreddage is a very good DI guitar for rock/metal.It comes with a special version of peavey revalver. You do need the full version of kontakt 4.

A shout out for the various Pettinhouse [pettinhouse.com] guitar plugs.
Very nice sounds, with easy to use articulations. Add an amp sim, and you're good to go. Check out the vids on his site.
Cheers
