So you buy a pack in one program but it doesn't work in another. How crazy is that! I bought the Fender pack And vocalive pack for Amplitube thinking that I could use them in vocalive free but nope. And to top it off, you guys suckered us by offering presets that require more stomp boxes than what comes with the packs - like the vocalive presets. To use any of them I have to buy more effects and that is just terrible. Feeling ripped off guys.

Ok, so I want to buy the full version of Amplitube to get the other effects. I have purchased the above packs in the free version so will I be able to enable them in the full version? Everything I read seems to say NO. If you buy something in Vocalive Free it doesn't show up in Amplitube Free. Please tell me this is wrong as it would make purchasing anything inside the free versions to be useless since the presets rely on the effects included in the full version.

In app purchases do not transfer from one app to another. So extra features bought in AmpliTube FREE will not transfer to VocaLive FREE or SampleTank for iPad FREE

This is just one reason why I won't spend any more money on IK.

IK Multimedia does not control the Apple iTunes App store. That is the nature of app store. Buying something "in-app" means just that. Our apps are no different than anyone else in that regard.

Sorry, but you put presets in there that require stomp boxes from the full version. So either delete them altogether, or make special presets for the fee version. I want to upgrade to the full version so you are telling me that any purchases from within free are stuck there? How about making an in app upgrade then. I just got irig mic, iklip mini, iklip iPad and was about to get the iklip for my guitar but now am feeling ripped. I looked at what I am missing and it will cost me more to in app purchase them than getting the full version. Help make me a fan here as I deserve better than the responses I just got above.

Sorry, but as some others of your colleagues, you have no clue! As easy as that. In-app-purchases can be transfered in case the supplier allows for it. Period.

Hi Sascha,

It is not currently possible to transfer in-app purchases from one app to another according to Apple. Nowhere in this article does it state that users can move in-apps between different app versions. What apps are you referring to that allows this?

I don't exactly remember, sorry. Might have been a game (which I'm usually not interested in), but I've seen it for certain that you could transfer in-app-purchases from a free/lite version to the full version.
I also don't have the slightest clue about what it takes to make whatever free/lite versions comptible with whatever full versions - all I know is that these things *do* happen. I may try to find out what it was - but OTOH, that's not my business as I already know it's possible. For sure, that is.

Alright, I've just been searching.
There's "SoundPrism" (even a music app) allowing you to transfer in-app-purchases to "SoundPrism Pro".

There you go.

I've googled it a bit and can't find any links talking about transferring in-app purchases. Where did you read that you could transfer in-app purchases from the free version to the full version?

WTF? I mean, really, I posted some example already (SoundPrism), what else do you need? Mushy Mushy posted a link to the same example already. Seriously, what does it take to get you folks off that high horse?
It's absolutely "un-doubtable" that at least some of you IKMM folks don't know shit. As easy as that, really.
Stick to your amateurish attitude, fine with me. But really, don't try to look like professionals, when everything you're posting could be revealed as plain BS. Otherwise, join some "audio sequencing 101" classes.

And yes, I'm serious.
