when I see the big pad in the middle, I really want it on a touchscreen device.
Gonna demo it soon, though.

Since I'm quite busy these days and won't have time to really dive into it to test and try it, I'm looking forward to see people's reviews and opinions.

Well now. Here's what I think:
I think people will complain some of the knobs are too small and the color will hurt their eyes.
I think it sounds amazing with the caveat; I'm wondering what these will sound like on a mix bus with a HP on it to clear it from kick and bass.
There's an AWFUL lot of Wobs or Wubs or whatever they are called.
Some sounds were extremely light on CPU. A couple of Syn patches hit 70% playing a midi loop. (I'm doing this on an older Pentium dual core T4200, so take that with a grain of salt.)
Lots of amazing atmospheres and soundscapes, so I can't really tell who this synth is aimed for. Some of these sounds are good enough for a movie soundtrack.
You will be hypnotized by the bouncing balls......
So, that's what I think taking a quick tour. Please demo yourself and decide for yourself.
I will say, for the intro price, there's NOTHING that sounds close to it. This could be a piece of hardware.

Sorry to say this, but to my ears this just sounds nasty, even after a lot of tweaking. Try turning off the effects of the insanely effect section for one (I hate effect-heavy synth patches!!).
I also think this is the worst GUI design I have ever used. The glowing text is almost unreadable and stings the eyes.
And WTF is that huge pointless batman blade??
I have to admit I've always thought Rob Ropen synths sounded slightly thin and lifeless, but this takes the cake!
If people want a similar kind of modulation orbit thingy they're better off with Animoog. Now that's a beauty!.
Sorry for seeming a bit harsh, I will however give them credit for trying out some new synthesis methods.

If I saw this on the first of April I would consider myself April fooled. The intended demographic might be 15 year old's. Unfortunately I was drinking milk when I opened that screenshot so now I have a bunch of dry cleaning to do. Looks like RP wants to taint their credibility for some reason. Val Kilmer did the same thing so that paparazzi would stop following him around.

You can have the GUI doubled in size if you click on the BLADE name up at the top. There you can choose "Big screen" and "Plain text" which only affects the value texts though.fceramic wrote:The glowing text is almost unreadable and stings the eyes.
