@Quinto - Sent you an email with an update regarding the issue mate ;)

(See what I did there a paying customer talking to the developer)

@All this is an incredibly versatile plugin which now exceeds value for money. It's got some seriously nice delay effects when messing on the fly (haven't checked midi control recording yet).

This has got to be in my honest opinion THE BEST VALUE plugin for the money with an exceptional tonal quality.

Once I've got my issue resolved hoping to do some tests vs MPX and another virtual tape.

Get this, it's hot and not to be dismissed. Hell jsut send your money on blind faith you wont regret it.

I had tried it against my UAD tape that i was demoing a while back what i like about this is the subtle but not so subtle nature of it. when you slap it on a kick or some bass is when you can really feel and hear the effects its smooth saturation with a nice punch. the UAD was good to but I find that other tape emulations go for more noticeable effect than subtle coloration and often say its a mix fix. (Plugin alliance i think actually had a slogen one that says fix it int he mix) But i really want those de essers they have so nice

Well, I had a go with v3 and it's epic! So many different treatments from one little plugin, it's unreal.

I really didn't expect the delay section to rock this much. New tape modes and controls are plenty to play with.

$29 is virtually giving it away

Wow. Kudos to the Q...

Yeah, there's adding new features, and then there's....adding a completely new effect to it? It's practically 2 plug-ins now.

I bought Grasso, Roundtone and Presence last night ........... You did it again Quinto!! My honest reaction during the Grasso video when you started tweaking the release knob was: "Oh he's cheating, he has a real hardware box inside it!" Ok, so i was tired, but still ;)

They all work fantastic on electronic drums :D Fantastic job!

Still sending some this afternoon.
Future updates (some fixes soon) will be very fast, I had to organize the whole old (v.1) lists.

Hey Quinto, i have a little problem in Maschine. You don't happen to have access to one..? :) The bottom row of knobs don't move when set to Tape machine A/B/C/D but when Stand Alone or Linked to A/B/C/D they move. I can hear the sound change so it's maybe just visual.
Another thing is that, just like STRIP had once upon a time, the knobs aren't labeled as they should be. You fixed it with STRIP, but Bus and Roundtone still suffers from it :(

I think the linking stuff isn't working in Maschine. I know i heard the delay work for both kick and bassline once(i have one roundtone on them each), but i can't replicate it again, no matter what settings i try. Naturally i go with Tape Machine A on one of them and then Linked to A on the other. But moving gain up and down, it only affects the one i currently am tweaking.

The sync on delay only contains a very few resolutions. Anyone want to calculate what 340 ms is at 130 bpm? 1/8.? Sounds good at least! No, it sounds fantastic!

Having mentioned Bus, the Sat knob does nothing when used in Maschine (works perfect in EnergyXT though). All these issues are when using NI's Maschine.

I bet you've answered this in another thread - have you considered porting for Reason's RE?

:hail:

+1 Unfortunately, haven;t tried on Maschine yet. Do you find even though the knobs dont move or dissapear moving the mouse over the area actually changes the sound? Im guessing a GUI issue and know Q is looking into it. Thought I was the only one :) Have you removed any older versions of the plugin from the vst folder as that for me improved things a little, but not everything.

Verified the same in Maschinex64 unfortunately.

Peace

M

Still a great plugin and insane pricing

I just received my copy of roundtone v3. The delay on this thing is just phenomenal.
The ways I can use roundtone have just multiplied. I can hardly believe that this was really a free update. I am very impressed. The delay on roundtone has tons of character. Finally something that sounds different than most of the delay plugins out there. Thank you!

Right on! If enhancing high frequency content counts as an 'exciter' then it's 3-in-1 8)
