A nugget!

Best ios music App ever, IMO. The dev is a genius and always willing to help.

A gift at this price!

I saw this sale yesterday, but unfortunately, I had already bought it a full price a couple of weeks ago..........but full price isn't too expensive either. ;-)

what are you guys doing with this? it's pretty cool at first glance, but are you guys able to actually play anything on it? the keys are so small. i can see using it live and making some interesting noises, but not sure about recording. maybe I just need to be more nimble? see if works on ipad? read the manual? :D

thanks for the post, if nothing else it will be fun to play with.

There are a many, many, many things you can do with this app. First regarding the small key size, if you press the Span [-] button you can reduce the number of octaves displayed and thereby make the keys smaller granting you better control. I use it as a MIDI controller, use its loop recorder for recording riffs for export to my desktop (audio and MIDI recordings), use its ability to load any custom scale or tuning (.scl or Scala tuning format), use it to make my own custom instruments out of anything I want to multi-sample, and it also makes coffee for me in the morning. One of my top two apps period.

This is the most versatile App I own:

A fantstic MIDI Controller.
A looper.
Multisample instrument. Factory samples sounds great and you can create your own!
A sketchbook.

There is so many thing you can do with it. This app makes me so creative each time I start it, it''s amazing.

Not inspired today?
Start TJ, load a drum track. Choose a scale, from classical to the weirdest ones. Pick an instrument.
Play. Have fun. Be amazed how it sounds. Creativity is waking up.

I can't imagine that someone won't like TJ.

Or maybe someone who lost his thumbs ;-)

you guys are right, very cool. really nice sounds. haven't had a chance to really play with yet, but my 5 year old is a whiz at it now. maybe I'll teach her to export and she can release her own album of musique concrete.
