I like those audio tracks. Keep 'em coming guys.
And as always, share them with the AmpliTube community in the Jam Session forum.

Videos are even better. We'll even pick the best ones to share on the IK Facebook, and award some JamPoints prizes. 8)

Working with sampled guitars. The over scream pedal in in front of these amps,
works wonders. The German gain into the slash cabs rock.Happy accident, two amplitube innstances, left on, while ABing, gaubs of distortion and phase issues!
When is the last day, for the intro price, on amplitube slash?

After comparing the Marshall certified amps/cabs to the old ones some more I picked up the entire dealio today along with the ANGER amp. I really think the ANGER amp is the most versatile amp head I've ever played with, it just needs a reverb plug-in to go along with its clean tones and you're gold. Now it's a toss up between my three favorite clean amps...the Roland 120, Fender '65 Twin or ANGER with Lexicon LXP.

I actually have access to a vintage '65 Twin and the IK emulation is pretty spot-on. The ANGER brings back the original Amplitube Metal tone and one-ups it. I think for high gain amps that thing is THE amp. If I ever save up the money I'll buy a real ENGL but the funds just aren't there today. And I was testing out the ANGER model with a cheap Ibanez guitar I can't imagine how this thing sounds with a Gibson.

Coupling the old JCM800/900 heads with the new cabs = win. No more EQing out the muddy sound it just sounds great from within the plug-in. I really think I can stop micing up the real 1960A cab when tracking!

Thanks for the kind words! The Anger amp is by far one of my favorites in AmpliTube (though the new Slash Marshall amps are giving it a REAL run for the top spot!) along with the Soldano.

We are still deciding on how long the introductory price will last. We'll keep you updated when we decide to move the price to the regular price, which is also still being decided on.

Anyone else having problems accessing the custom shop?

Yes. Yesterday and the day before I had problems logging on. And when I went to buy something the web store crashed and the Authorization manager used up two authorizations even though I only clicked the button once. I'm not worried about it as I only use two computers for tracking/mixing but still...

Post

Mine generated 2 authorizations as well. Won't annoy me until I go to register the 5th time and realize it is the 6th.

Ok I changed my mind....after watching Tal Wilkenfeld jam with Jeff Beck on the telly last night I want her bass setup:

Any chance of these amp and cab models making it into AT in the future? Doesn't hurt to ask......... :)

Anybody that has problems with authorizations should report it to Tech Support so they can look into the overall potential for it to be an issue that might need to be fixed and decide whether there may be a need to adjust authorizations.

Since I was on an Orange kick, I do have to say that it is nice to see quotes like this from the guy at Orange in charge of the OPC (who also happens to have a last name that's quite a heavyweight at Orange):

"'IK Multimedia is the only company we've worked with directly to get the look and sound of our amplifiers right,' said Cooper. 'We still feel this is the closest to Orange Amplifiers you can get using software, so it made sense to include it on the OPC.'" - Charlie Cooper, Orange Amplifiers

What would be awesome, is release :

AT Hendrix MK2
AT Metal MK2
Ampeg SVX MK2

Using the latest modeling technology from AT3.

That said, we need more bass amps, please.

On a side note, I agree with the fact that in-between it could be great to have new T-RackS singles, featuring the promised enhanced versions of White 2A and Black 76 with input/output stage modeling, and multiple buttons combinations for the Black 76 (ratio, like 4+8, 12+4 and so on).

And last but not least, SampleTank 3 :D !

Hope all that will happens sooner than later.

Yes on all counts! Except ST3. Can't imagine how good those samples would have to sound and how good that engine would have to be for me to care. Unless they can turn into Omnisphere meets Kontakt or something...

We will definitely be moving forward!
Remember, at the beginning of the year we promised this would be The Year of the Gear. :D

Now maybe you see what we meant! ;)

OMG, it's gonna be awesome !

Great to see IK expanding on all fronts, while keeping high-profile quality.

My belief is that the quality of IK's products will have to match the intensity of their advertisements or there's an imbalance. Definitely a good start so far ;)

It's interesting... I tend to ask everyone about high gain amps alot, but I always tend to gravitate towards the super clean Fender stuff. That Orange #4 amp sounds pretty nice. I don't know, there's just something about that black and orange that gets me. #4 isn't as cool of a name as 'Dark Terror' though. Played alot of rpgs in my time, so it conjures a certain image, haha. Seems like everybody loves that ENGL. Rightly so, it's bad ass.

I believe it's time to woodshed it up... I feel something coming up soon that I'll need to practice for 8)
