Theo, open the browser, there are 2 expansion banks.ttoz wrote:grymmjack wrote:http://shop.propellerheads.se/product/polysix/
That one is not over priced. It's the same price.
And it's great. Misses a few features of the VST, but the reason mixer makes it sound better than the plugin IMO.
hmm i just don't like it much..
maybe because of the limited included patches....
there's a couple of nice pads but that's it.
I SO hope we get wavestation , M1 and mono poly and the little multi fx plugin as well. oh heck legacy cell would rock but i know that's impossible and you can make your own with the combinator anyway /.
the thing is... i kind of fear there is a reason they did the polysix... as i doubt very much it's their most popular vst (it's the others that are always talked about).. and that reason is comparitve simplicity...
i will just wait for predator me thinks.
I think if we get polysix, we can expect the standard korg synths in VST land, except M1 might be a bitch.
MS-20 next please!!! then MonoPoly!

50/50 ? You can't really be serious. They don't keep anything up to date, if something is changed or fixed in code it is going to be updated by DEV himself. Propellerhead does not have access to source code of algorithm behind any 3rd party plugin.ttoz wrote: has anyone of those people taken into account that once the RE is done, props do EVERYTHING else from their end for ever after that? Keeping it up to date, compatible, support, etc..
i am surprised it is not 50/50
Add to that that they don't need to support anything, if SDK rules are followed it will simply work and be compatible. The only have to work on Reason itself which is a good thing since now they can focus more on program itself.
Theo btw i see Korg is available. How does it sound? Any review please?!

If you're talking about the poly-6, well, it's already off of my list and the trial has been going for less than an hour. ABL2 is a different story, however; too bad that there's no audio in for the filter.ttoz wrote:Ok it sounds a LOT nicer with a touch of the softube saturation knob on the leads.. yummy... try it.,.

39€ for the poly seems like a decent price ... but ... look at the back of it ......... eh. Sort of missing the rack point of it, doesn't it.

Wish the Polysix had Audio In. With the filters and effects that would have been pretty sweet.

Yeah i thought that this was what everyone screamed about. Using advanced features which only Reason have. Keep in mind that we could see that in some future update.SWallace wrote:Wish the Polysix had Audio In. With the filters and effects that would have been pretty sweet.
