I'm a bit careful of these great new softsynths - they may contain several bugs and surprises .....
It's not against d16 but in my oppinion it's better to use the old softsynths that are "mature" enough and already have years of improvement and user feedback inside them.
One great feature in Lush is its multitimbrality,
but after the first read, I realized how many vsti exists with "multi layer" structure. Fortunately I have one with 4 layers and each layer has its own arp.
So in this moment, I realized, I won't even download the demo of Lush,
though I usually interested in tryíng these cool looking new softsynths.

I'm waiting:
  • CPU optimization/draft mode
Some oscillator drift options/movement in sound
    Better modulation matrix
    ENV trig bug fix
Common and assignable knobs that control all layer parameters
    GUI update
    Sale
After those I'm interested buying. Now Diva will do it for me.

Wut..?

In my opinion it's better to actually try a product before offering strange advice.

If they added to their improvements list an option for a single layer instance with parameters automatable by default, I would get more interested.

What bug?

Polyphony 1, notes don't overlap or have any space between them, then ENV is never retrigered and ENV reset mode Trig/Gate don't have any effect also option sh-101 or normal retrigger doesn't change that fact that the env is never retrigered.

Of course there is a workaround to make small space between notes or overlap those. They have confirmed this and it will be fixed.

How do you suppose such a basic SH-101 behavior could have been missed? How many SH-101 owners did they have on the beta team?

Ah, I see - hadn't even noticed this!

Beta testing something for a free plugin ain't gonna get full testing coverage. That's a fact of software development. If confusing at all, it's more confusing that the sound designers for Lush have missed it since they are completely into using it to the max. Yes, I distinguish between plain beta testers and sound designers, some of them are both though.

Maaaaaan... the more I play with this thing, the more I love it! I have a feeling this synth is going to grow and grow... D16 have never really let any of their products slide, so I don't see any reason why they'd start with this beauty of a synth. I can think of all sorts of little tweaks I'd like, such as a MIDI learning multiple controllers to the same CC, and then controlling them in a relative manner so they don't all jump to the same position (so these massive, multilayer sounds could be swept smoothly with a single controller, for instance)...

But as it stands, this thing sound absolutely top notch. I'm reminded of that every time I start to play with it anew. Fantastic work!

How does it's supersaw compare to a JP-8000 supersaw or Virus ti2?

Each time i play with it, the more i like it..

Lush-101 fed through The Glue with a little compression, sent to SK Note's Stagespace and Valhalla Ubermod (delay):

I think it shows that oomph and depth can come out of lush. Just a little sub osc (35%). SH-101 filter. The drive you hear sometimes is the insert which is dialed in to just give it a a liiiitle gnarl though at times the resonance peaks a bit too much making it dive into distortionland. I only used mouse to control the synth, with hands and two knobs i could have reduced the resonance live to avoid it ... not the synth's fault!

PLEASE reduce price or add into offer. Please :) Or throw in the 808 and 909 in the deal .. plus maybe the 303 :P

It doesn't (it's pants). Sadly it's not a Roland emulation supersaw but just a standard saw stack, and a mediocre one to boot. Still, it doesn't stop this from being one of the nicest synths of late. The unison, however, is pretty damn fine, just make sure your computer's ready for it :hihi:
