I just got my new serial this afternoon and, thanks to ChadPA , have it up and running in OSX Lion. Very nice sounding synth, well worth $20 and well worth the four day wait.[/url]

To liquidsound and anyone else interested in giving Rapture as a gift, here's the official word from Cakewalk support.
If anyone buys Rapture directly from Sweetwater, then they can definitely gift the Redemption Code to a friend. Just tell them to send the code off as a holiday gift or what not :)

If they buy it through the Cakewalk Store, on the other hand, the registration will be bound to their account and they will not be able to transfer.

Kill me for saying, but I just like Rapture's filters better than Z3ta. Creamy would be the word. Z3ta+ is a monster and I love it but it just has this tinny edge to the sounds..

Never purchased a vst until last week. Feels so good to own this masterpiece.

I got Rapture when they did the upgrade from le deal for £15, fantastic synth for this price, I'm not a fan of the browser though.

Dont forget to download the bonus expansion packs.

Sweetwater/Cakewalk have sent a bonus "Digital Sound Factory Film Score expansion pack free of charge" as apology to the customers who had a problem with the Serial numbers. I got mine today :-)

Another reason to buy from Sweetwater

Thank you Meffy. I'm getting 4 gifts for my friends in Italy from Sweetwaters.
Really, thanks for following. :D

If you had a serial number issue with Sweetwater, you should have received it. I found mine in my ISP's spam filter. You might want to check yours...

It is probably just a question of taste, but I also find Rapture more musical than Z3ta. I try not to buy anything on impulse but this is one temptation I am glad I gave in to.

Missed that. How do you run on Lion? what about 10.8?
