I've been looking at an online tutorial for Alchemy, the introductory one, in fact.

The Alchemy Introduction tutorial (http://www.camelaudio.com/tutorials.php?tID=14 (http://www.camelaudio.com/tutorials.php?tID=14)#) shows an interface with three panels at the top of the Alchemy interface: in the tutorial, labelled "Factory," "Pads," and "Galileo."

These panels don't show up when I load Alchemy and invoke the Simple interface. Are these panels in the tutorial because the tutorial uses an older version (1.12.13) and these panels are no longer present in Alchemy 1.50?

If they're no longer being used in 1.50, how does one browse for sounds in Simple interface? Is the user expected to use the Browser interface to locate sounds?

Or is there some way to have these panels show when the Simple interface is being used. They appear to be rather useful ...

Thx.

Hi,

You are correct about the video being created using an older version which used the bank, category and preset format across the top.

In the v1.50 update just click the title bar and you'll see a full list of presets matching the current search settings from the browser page. e.g. if Pads is selected in the browser page, the drop down list will only display pads. Search settings can only be changed on the browser page, which is why it's the default page with the performance controls at the bottom of the screen.

Also, we have a dedicated support forum on KVR. You are welcome to post any questions here:
