Now that Live 9 is finally available, I wonder who else here is holding back on buying Live 9 because Bitwig Studio might be a much better option (but... No guarantees). Kind of a tough wait, given Live 9 is available.
Oh well, I'm willing to be patient, until Bitwig Studio is finally released to evaluate it against Live 9, and then pull the trigger on the one that I feel is the best, or most suitable DAW for my taste. Who knows, I might end up getting Live 9
But.. I doubt it.
Hopefully, Bitwig Studio will be released during Summer 2013.
Cheers,
Muziksculp

Yup, especially if BWS doesn't live up to our expectations.VitaminD wrote:I'm waiting to see what BWS brings compared to Live 9....
It is a stupidly long wait though..

That is my concern.. super long wait, only to find out it doesn't meet my needs.Muziksculp wrote:Yup, especially if BWS doesn't live up to our expectations.VitaminD wrote:I'm waiting to see what BWS brings compared to Live 9....

In the meantime Reaper is getting some serious upgrades so nothing is lost and I am entertained, and the saved money will probably go to VSTs (or another host?) if BWS is not up to the task!
