It's when you 'Activate MIDI OUT' in the settings at the top of the screen. Select the on/off option on the left, close the window and it locks up immediately. It does it every time I've tried it and after removing it from the multitasking menu, it will crash the next time you open it.
I didn't even need to close the window- as soon as I clicked on/off, poof, the whole thing dissapears!

Nice one mate - well, you know what I mean. That's one confirmed. What version iPad/ OS are you running?
I've been trying to use this with KP, but even with basic mappings, it's crashing repeatedly.
The more things I try with this, the more bugs I find that cause it to crash; which is starting to get really quite frustrating.
There are a lot of people on other forums/ blogs that don't seem to have any problems though, so either we are incredibly unlucky or they just haven't been trying many different things.

If anyone else finds any bugs, if you can post them here including as much information as possible, we can get others to try to replicate them and compile a list.

Think someone else mentioned this, but audio loaded from the pasteboard and itunes plays back crackly and glitchy (with all fx off) while the built in loops do not.

I'm using ipad2 with 6.1.3

Cheers, which thread is that in?
I also checked their forum, which I had a D'oh! moment with, as I'd forgotten it was housed here!
Do you think it's worth taking our findings over there, or continue to log them here?

EDIT - never mind, found it on the AB forum; seems like the MIDI OUT crash has been mentioned by a couple of people over there as well.

I got mine up and running with KP. It didn't crash when I used it, but I'll give another try tonight.

I also need to spend some more time choosing my mappings in KP. I didn't like the results and feel the X/Y pads and Dictator offered more flexibility, but then again my whole point for getting Turnado was to build some unexpected sounds (happy accidents).

Interesting. What iPad/ OS versions are you running? And what config did you use in KP?
I just used a four node in KP, using two CCs (1-8) per node (no custom CCs).
The sun's gone in now, so it's time to try it again!

Lol, the eight with the bracket after it triggered that emoticon!

iPad 2, iOS is 6.1.2 (I'm always one behind).

4 Nodes (default KP configuration).

I randomly set this one up, but each node is controlling multiple CC's (1-8 ). I simply tried not duplicate mappings and that's it. Again, no crashes, but I'll have to map this out in an intelligent way as opposed to the randomness I have it set to now.

iOS5, MIDI OUT and audio player clipping fixed. Nice one.

No! :(
And when you press the random button the modules change but all just say 'default'
Not the greatest update ever lol

There is an easy fix!
Delete the app and download it from the AppStore again and they are there!
If you have saved presets and recordings tho, it is a bigger job that involves hooking your iPad up to iTunes
If you need those instructions I can probably post them here I think.. Support got straight back to me with an email about it.

Here is how in case anyone needs them-
The following steps describe how to get back the presets.
If you don't have any custom presets or recordings only step 4. and 5. are necessary!

(1). open iTunes, select you iPad and click on the "Apps" tab
(2). scroll down to the "File Sharing" section and select Turnado
(3). make a backup of the "Content" folder and your recordings by saving them to your computer

4. delete Turnado from your iPad by long pressing the icon
5. open the App Store and (re)install Turnado

(6). start Turnado (everything should work as per default)
(7). open iTunes and put back your recordings by just dragging and dropping
(8). to restore your custom presets you need a program like iFunBox
(9). open iFunBox and put your backuped "Content" folder to "/App File Sharing/Turnado" by just dragging & dropping

Cool, I'm glad I have only 6 ipads :D ...... ...... :drunk:

Luckily, I did back up my presets in iTunes before I uninstalled- dicked around for a while trying to reinstall them before I remembered iTunes sucks ass and I'll need iFunbox to move them back...
