I was just about to 'pull the trigger' on an Ultranova when I heard the Sonic State review/demo for the KK. The Ultranova has suddenly been 'put on hold'.
First, the KK is multi-timbral (2). (At twice the price, as well.) Second, it seems to have more vibrant sounds. (Without a side to side test of the two, this is, of course, not verifiable.) So, this is where you, my gentle readers, come in. Anyone out there, using an Ultranova, who's played around with a KK (say, for example, at Musikmesse 2013) care to opine?
Oh, one thing…my synth tastes run to the digital/synthetic side of things. I'm real 'old school':

Don't care much for real analog sounds (except for the Elka Synthex!).
Now, I do like Rob Papen's Blade (although I don't own it) and it seems to me (from the demos I've seen so far) that KK has better FM sounds than Blade. Again, opinions would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has a strong argument that Blade is better at FM than KK, I may have to reconsider getting a KK.
As always: thanks for any input!
